Disabled drop off at Heathrow?

I have searched their website but can find nothing about dropping someone off at the airport! My wife has a blue badge and we would like to see our daughter off, perhaps spend 1/2 hour in the airport before our DD returns to NZ.
Any advice appreciated.
I see I can ring to ask but that is a premium rate number!
Has anyone got an email address I can contact?

Lots of useful information on the airport's website on how drop offs and parking for disabled passengers work.

The drop off information is here. You either use the long stay free for two hours or pay to use the short stay. There are disabled parking spaces but you pay the same as everyone else.

Yes I saw that but it seems to be about parking.
So there is no "drop off" at the airport and you have to park?
If we didn't want to stay, just drop off would we still have to go to the parking?0 -
If you use airports at all frequently you must surely have noticed over the last few years that drop off areas have become as rare as hens teeth, even more so for it to be free. Pretty much everywhere now regards dropping off as another type of short stay parking, and charge accordingly.
This was in the news less than a month ago http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-417069920 -
The forecourts are for dropping off but that is just exactly that. Open the door, get out, get luggage out then leave.
Staying for 1/2 hour is not dropping off and will require using a car park.0 -
Have you thought about spending that 1/2 hour at a local pub or something similar ? I would have thought it would be more socialable than at the airport0

Ok we may do that but can we just drop off or do we have to go to the expensive parking?
Again nothing comes up when I put "drop off" in the website search!0 -

Surely your daughter is worth £7 to say goodbye?0 -
You can 'drop-off' at LHR, but what you can't do is leave your car in the drop off area and pop in the terminal and say your good byes. Drop off and go. If you wish to linger, support them at check-in and say a longer good-bye then you need to use one of the short stay car parks. There are disabled bays but you still have to pay just like everyone else.0
