Massive problem with holiday company kept quiet

After a Terribel Thailand experience that my daughter attended. I was ignored and blocked by the company involved after complaining.
I have made a facebook support group which is booming with over 150 young kids affected by the fiasco.
The experience involved hotels with pools, itineraries with elephants, teaching qualifications but the intake from mid july to september suffered a shortfall of cash, hotels were changed, even destinations were changed to hundreds of miles away, no qualifications were issued, activities did not go ahead and much worse, it is just terrible
the company involved is blocking all of the youngsters who complain and baffling them saying they ahve no rights
I have claimed a full refund from my card using section57 and several others are doing the same but I am shocked at just how many kids have been affected by this and want to know where can I go to get a lawyer in the UK who will take on this case and claim for the hundreds of kids that have lost out..
I have evidence that the company knew before that they had no money, could not pay for the correct visas and knew that the hotels were owed so much money they would not let them stay anymore, their director had emailed partners in Thailandto tell them they had no funds to run the course and still sent these kids, some were wandering around bangkok with reps and no accommodation, others had their passports confiscated as hotel bills had not been paid...it was an utter shambles
any advice where to go to get someone to take on this case.

You don't make much sense.
Have you had a s 75 refund, or did you pay by debit card as per your other thread?
No idea what else you're asking.0 -
Where is the company based?
If it is a simple matter of breach of contract, you would use the Civil Law and your local county court. You could sue for what you paid them and for the consequential loss arising from their failure to deliver (the air fare in order to get to the course that they did not provide). You probably do not need a lawyer for this, particularly if you can use the 'small claims' track. You may like to take advice from your local Trading Standards.
However, you indicate that you have evidence of fraud, in which case this is a police matter.0 -

According to the other thread, the daughter used a debit card to pay for an air ticket in order to attend the course. Meanwhile, the OP made a separate payment for the course, presumably using her credit card.0 -

Trading Standards don't offer advice or take on individual cases. OP would need to contact the CAB Consumer Advice Line for advice.
I'm wondering if the company has any money. If they don't there's no point in suing them.0 -

they are still advertising for next year and as they had a new investor just at the last minute they are I think back on track, but for over 100 kids it was a disaster.

Thanks for that, as there are over 100 affected people and most are 18 year old girls, its difficult to expect them to pay and pursue small claims...Iam trying to help as many as possible its just got too big....is it possible for a group of 100 to go to small claims although each case is or may be slightly different...
Iam happy to go to small claims but have no doubt it will go uncontested as they would not want to even attempt to contradict the evidence I have....0 -

Looking at their Companies House registration they're in difficulty.
You can contact any solicitor that deals with consumer disputes, but a group claim will be outside small claims limits and a solicitor is not going to take it on if you're unlikely to get the money back (unless someone is willing to pay their fees upfront).0 -

Can you expand on the companies house bit, all I could find was one company invasion something was removed from the register0 -

Section 75 the limit is 6 years (or 5 years from discovery in Scotland) not 120 days. Tell the people to go back to their banks making it clear they are making a section 75 claim NOT a chargeback (chargeback dose have a time limit). HOWEVER this advise only applys if they paied via a CREDITCARD as appose to a debit card.0
