Bluetooth.

Not sure if this should be in the techie section or here.
However, Chinese Android 6 smartphone's Bluetooth does not remain "on" when the phone is switched off and then on. I usually switch it off overnight.
I turn B/tooth on manually and it works fine. Switch off the phone then have to turn on B/tooth manually again.
I've looked online and in the settings but can find nothing relting to this issue. It's not a major problem but if I forget to turn B/tooth on the phone obviously does not connect to my car. As a result I have to stop and switch it on!
Any ideas?

Make and model might help, but generically, in either the bluetooth, connections, or power settings, there might be some power saving mode that's turning it off - that would be an annoying feature! Have you added your car to the phone's 'trusted devices' or similar, this might also help.
  • If the phone has NFC you can put a sticky tag in the car (or anywhere else) to enable or disable all sorts of settings by just wafting it over the tag when you get in.

Sorry for the very delayed response. Thanks for the suggestions.
However, I've still not been able to fathom this out!
    It's a Umi Super.
    Forget the car connecting section.
It's just the Bluetooth function on the phone that is the main problem. When switched on it works fine.
The issue is, as described, I power the phone on and in spite of Bluetooth being enabled when the phone is switched off, it does not enable when the phone is next switched on.
i.e. Bluetooth on, switch phone off. Switch phone on Bluetooth doesn't enable until I go into the settings and manually turn it on. Rinse and repeat.
I can't find anything in the phone's settings to have Bluetooth on by default. The default appears to be off when the phone is switched off.
It did work previously, enabling when the phone was switched on, but for some reason has now stopped doing it. It has to be operator error, something I have done somewhere along the line or there is a fault with the phone?

It could be designed to do that to improve battery life.
