£108.00 to test one ceiling......madness !!
I have a large house & all ten ceiling were done with artex by me 25 years ago.
I ain't worried one little bit.
Why do people look for a problem that is not there...............

Bear in mind OP, if the artex is in good condition there is nothing to worry about.

From my perspective I only care about ceiling artex content because I’d like to drill a couple of holes into the ceiling and the trades people have suggested that they wouldn’t touch the Artex.
