Don't lets get into this . Counsellors have their place for some people. After all counselling has been one of the biggest growth industries in the last couple of decades. I can get a counselling 'qualification' via distance learning. They listen to you, allow you to make your own decisions. And how s/he has come to these conclusions after 1 session is beyond me. However if you find it helpful then the purpose has been served.
