    I'd agree, but purely based on the grey colour I'd say that's a fluidmaster inlet valve - and they can be a bit tricky to seal sometimes - and that one looks to have some non-standard floopy rubber seal on it so a) don't disturb the valve seating and b) when you buy the flexible connector pipe go for the version with an isolator valve built in - then if/when you do have problems with the inlet valve you can just turn off the isolator.
