I'm waiting on delivery of a new car (yeah, I know, not very mse).
So, as usual, the dealer is not offering me much for my old car. Webuyanycar is offering a bit more but looking at second hand prices, they are going for between one and two and a half thousand more than that. On an older car, this is a significant difference.
I have always sold my cars privately but this time, there is no interest whatsoever. There are notes in the window which has generated some tyre kickers and it I still on autotrader. Add below.
I would appreciate some feedback on the add or advice on whether the market has changed.
Cheers very much.

Your car doesn't seem to be priced much different to similar private sales but...... cars from dealers are also the same price.
I would suggest yours (and the other private ads) are overpriced. If you want a quick sale maybe knock £500 off the asking price but be prepared for people wanting to pay £3k in the end.
Also consider gumtree and eBay, not without their own issues but may reach a wider audience.0 -

3k is what webuyanycar offered so if that's all I'll get selling private, I might as well chop it in with them. It will be less hassle than worrying about who is turning up on my doorstep.0 -
As a private buyer, I would be put off by your removing the stereo.
WBAC may come back with a lower offer once you have 'sold' it to them.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I've not removed the stereo. Does the add read as if I have?
I have added a Bluetooth thingy to it as a stand alone unit. Radio and CD player still in situ and working.
Appreciate any advice on changing the wording0 -
I think he means the photo showing the glove box. There's wires hanging out of it so poster obviously thought that was the slot where the radio was.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -

I'm sorry. I saw picture 9 and thought that looked like you had removed the stereo. Maybe just remove that pic? Or maybe I'm just an idiot? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

It is meant to show the leads for the iPod prep. (If anyone is looking for an aftermarket phone and iPod kit, I would really recommend the parrot kit)0 -
Blanked number plate immediately makes me move on to the next car. If I can't check the history without having to ring the seller and listen to them tell me how wonderful the car is, I'll buy something else.0

I would agree - why blank out the reg ? As a buyer I want to be able to do some checks myself .....would skip straight past that one.0 -

Ta, that's helpful. I can easily change the photos. It's not trying to hide anything. It has sailed through every mot bar the last. The one just done, the flexible bit of the exhaust was blowing, that was changed and it passed on the retest.
See my thread regarding the bloke who took pictures. My fear was of cloning. So, I'll change the photos0
