    editing to add
take your time with deciding and look into it all , then you don't pay for something that you won't use
  • Netflix is what it says a site for watching films which you pay for. I wait till they are on TV and watch them for free. We have netflix on our TV have never used it.

Arrgghhh the chaps have just been to look at the shed, the whole damn thing has got to be replaced. just cannot face having to take everything out all over again and storing it in the sentry box and emptying the stuff out of the coal house to tget the lawnmower in. I could scream.

Hello :hello: I'm late again !
I have been to Sm*ths Toys to collect some of DGS Xmas presents. It was only 5 items and paid £2 short of £100 . I can't believe the price of toys these days. (Gosh I'm beginning to sound like my parents and Victor Meldrew :( )
I bought myself a new washing up bowl :j, I didn't realise how much I would miss one.
We called in Tes*o for bread and tomatoes and decided to have lunch there. Lasagne and chips, very nice too and no cooking or washing up :T. Only a snack needed later now.
Just checked the bank too and we have had our other matured policy paid in, so that will be put aside to go towards a new ( to us ) car. Mr Fix It is waiting for the budget to find out the fate of diesel cars / fuel before we commit to changing.
So I feel like I have had a productive day. Unfortunately no OSing today, sorry. Will try harder tomorrow, promise :D.
Deleted_User glad you got your photos sorted. Mr Fix It is a mine of information, most of it useless mind you :rotfl:.
JackieO hope your DD feels more comfortable without her stitches. Thinking of Frank too.
NMLC hope your OH is feeling better with his new medication.
Gintot hope your little DGS is OK and having a lovely time with you and Grampy.
Silver-oldie well done on losing the weight :T. Can't help with techie stuff but Mr Fix It says that Netflix is a subscription service offering a number of TV shows and films. HTH.
    Hugs all round today.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently
  • silver Oldie go online to Amazon and compare prices. My friend always does this if she has seen something in a shop. BBC I player and the other stuff is, I think, catch up tv where you can search for programmes you have missed. I don't use it much myself.

Silver oldie I like netflix but thats because I stay away a lot and it gives me access to loads of films and box sets that I can watch on my laptop/ipad Its a lot cheaper than Sky but it depends if you like their selection. When I subscribed (its 7.99 a month) I got a month free to try it so you could do that then cancel if its not for you

    HTH

I did not mean to sound bossy but went through this myself last year
and had stern warnings form the gp. Hope everything goes well for you.
I made the mistake of coming off Seroxat too soon. The side effects were awful. Scared of my own shadow I was.:D

Fortunately I get no side effects at all with fluoxetine. I've come off them before.

Didn't complete my list of jobs today but we can eat another week. I had to chase a cancelled doctors appointment after the surgery phoned Grump this afternoon to cancel I made for him. There is only one doctor in the practice that performs minor surgery and they don't know when he'll be back. I did hear on the grapevine that he was having a few marital issues .. ok his wife had run off with one of his partners but I'm not one for gossip...

    Have a good evening all
