Best place to purchase computer workstation chair for home use?

Anyone know the best place to purchase a computer workstation chair for under £100? Needs to have 5 castor wheels, height adjustment and independent back rest angle and seat base angle adjustment. My go to place is normally Amazon but can't seem to find any that are decently rated and I'd prefer to try something before buying.

Recently bought this one from Amazon - http://amzn.to/2j5nGpV

I haven't assembled it yet but opened the package and it feels very sturdy unlike the Argos stuff. Comes with 3 month returns policy as well.

Of course Ikea is your next best bet but it's going to cost you at least thrice the price for a similar model.

    All the best.

It might well be good quality and sturdy but it's not what the OP wants.
They are after a chair for a workstation and not the workstation itself.

  • I feel the same as the OP.
When spending what may be close to £100 on a chair that could be getting a lot of use, I would prefer a shop where I could sit in the actual model I am interested in to see how it feels and how easy it is to adjust.

Sadly, places like that are few and far between. There used to be a big Staples store near to me but that's now gone so I think my next chair will be coming from Amazon.

I can recommend this one - has five wheeled legs, stylish (well I think so), very comfortable to sit on. It is self-assembly - it may help having two, but I did it on my own.

I bought a refurbished one from eBay. Didn't need to test it out as it was the same model as used in DD's somewhat upmarket offices.

    I bought mine from Costco.

It's very comfy - has to be as I sit in it for 7 hours a day. they normally have a few in there to choose from.
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j

I would recommend a second-hand office furniture supplier would be a good place to buy a good chair. You will be able to sit in the chair, check that all the adjustments work, and potentially be able to return it if you don't get on with it. If you think you might want to return it, check whether the supplier will allow this.

If you want the chair for long-term use, but a professional model.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.
