    What sort of letter?

If a summons, you need to respond to that. i.e accept it, defend it, etc Time limits apply.
Why have you allowed matters to escalate to this level? Significant additional charges will now have been added as a result.
  • As I explained I'd fled to a domestic violence refuge 5/5/2015 with no possible way of returning to my home. I was also recovering from many a broken bone after ops to pin them back together on strong pain relief in a dazed state. I was not in the position to think straight let alone contact any companies. They have obviously located me via the electoral register but as I also said the property was returned to the council Jan 2016. Does that clear things for you? Or do you need to know that my 14 year old had to wash and dress me for months after as well as look after her little sister"

You need to contact the court with details (proof) of when the property was returned to the council. It will mean you are responsible for part of the debt (9/7/15 to 1/16).

Ditto with Spiro. It's really pants when you've done nothing wrong and you have to put in the effort to get them off your back.

CA may help you do that as this really is the last thing you need at this time.

Stay strong, get well and find a nice guy. They don't all hit.
