What's all the fuss about silicone bakewear?
I got a flan case and hate it. It doesn't appear to cook the pastry well, its difficult to get out the oven without it flopping and breaking the contents.0 -

Don't know about photo's really, putting a link in from where you've got them stored online is easy - I don't know if there is a way to just 'pull' them from your computer or not. If you can get them online, into Flickr or Photobucket etc, then you can just copy (highlight and right click, copy) the info from the page the pic is on, and when you're back here (MSE) and posting, click the little 'earth' icon up at the top of the posting screen, paste the pics info into the box and click ok. Voila

I've never tried pastry, and have only used the muffin 'tin' atm, but like that there is no greasing involved and I've never had a muffin stick. Not even around the top edge at all, clean-up is a breeze and they've always come out baked to perfection!0 -
I think I may be tempted by these
Out of interest, I've just done an on-line currency conversion and the prices convert from euros as follows:
Shapes UK £2.99 France €3.99 converted price £2.78
Chessboard set UK £4.99 France €6.99 converted price £4.87
Scales UK £7.99 France €9.99 converted price £6.95
It looks like there could be saving to be made if you are traveling to France but I suppose it depends on the conversion rate on the day.
If you are traveling to France you could always check out the Lidl France site. I Google'd, Google France and then used that site to find the web addresses of the French stores. If you don't read French you can use Bablelfish to translate the web page. Sometimes the translations are a bit word for word but you can usually get the gist. We don't always have the same things in at the same time as the UK.Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget
