No probs, i don't really need an excuse to make a chocolate cake. Plus i have a very unhealthy obsession with kitchen "gadgets", bakewear & plastic tubs.

Jelly is in the fridge as we speak. if someone can tell me how to add photos i'll post one when its set & turned out.

I have been looking for a set of round tubs to freeze soup in (yes i have others but they are the wrong shape & dont match & i'm not convinced they are freezerproof!) i was soooooo excited yesterday, i got a set of 10 (10!!) for a £1 (£1!!!!) in Poundstretcher.

My husband thinks i'm very odd

  • I went to our local Lidl yesterday to get the Chess Cake tins...and they hadn't arrived on their delivery :(

Have left details for them to call me if they come in today...I was gutted...I have my mums set from the early 1980's but it's not non stick...and it's seen better days..although you can still use it perfectly fine....

Has anyone else actually managed to buy the chess tins?
  • They did have them in Reading yesterday when I was there.
  • They were in the Hastings one yesterday too.

I've never greased the muffin tin I have and they've always just slid out.
