I emailed the court last week for an answer - looking for something in writing to confirm the CEL claim has been struck out.
The hearing is on 1st May, so I need to write and post a witness statement within next 5-6 days.0 -

Finally got through to court this morning - they confirmed that this claim has been struck off as the claimant has failed to pay the trial fee. I will get the physical letter in 2-3 days time.
This is good result - thanks to all the support and info on this forum.
It would have been very difficult to take time away from work for the hearing date....Do I bother with claim for costs?0 -
I doubt you will get your costs, that is the most annoying thing.
But well done, another CEL case where they have discontinued, without paying the fee, as ever!

if you want to claim costs, look at Peperlini's thread and claxtome's fluttering ticket one (the latter has a link to peperlini's which I posted).
