My bathroom window is "frosted", but not enough to give much privacy. I applied some stick-on frosted plastic film to the lower half of the window, which fixed the problem. The film is cheap and easy to apply.

Its just a thought, but why don't you get someone to stand in the shower and go out have a look at what exactly someone will see ? Get hubby to do it in the morning and also at night, with his underpants on...don't want to frighten the neighbors.

We had Pilkington privacy level 4 etched glass fitted to bathroom when we got new windows and if its dark with a light on in the bathroom its definitely NOT particularly private so we use the blind.

If close to the window (say, cleaning teeth or shaving at our sink) then the person is quite visible from the street - if in the shower and further away from the glass, then it does get more obscured however the blind still gets used.

    Hope this helps.
  • Start eating a few more pies and soon the neighbours won't WANT to look in :p
  • Another vote for the sticky back plastic idea! This is what we have on our bathroom window - cheap solution too!
