Good afternoon.
Can anyone please give me an idea of how to cover the window when having a shower as my wife is worried as the bathroom window is very large and right where the shower is.
Many thanks

Had a similar situation in our previous house and wife was worried about it despite the window having a frosty glass.
Ended up fitting a water resistant roller blind like http://amzn.to/2j9zbga or http://amzn.to/2hfe73L
There are also other expensive but aesthetically pleasing options like fauxwood Venetian blinds like https://www.web-blinds.com/innovation-chic-white-fauxwood/ which are water resistant as well but personally I would avoid them as they are too expensive.
All the best.0 -
I have a shower curtain which goes in front of my window, it it secured to the wall at both ends, and hangs from the ceiling.0

We are having a new pane with integral blind fitted.0

If the existing glass is not frosted ( unusual, in a bathroom ) then you can buy self-adhesive clear plastic that will give it a frosted appearance and make it opaque. It's perhaps not the most elegant solution, but very cheap 'n' cheerful.
Failing that, a simple roller blind from Dunelm or The Range or suchlike will only cost a few quid, and they're very simple to fit.0 -
That sounds like a great hack!
OP - Just so that you know, Ebe is referring to something like http://amzn.to/2Asij8FEbe_Scrooge wrote: »If the existing glass is not frosted ( unusual, in a bathroom ) then you can buy self-adhesive clear plastic that will give it a frosted appearance and make it opaque. Just to add as we had same problem we got a blackout blind from dunelm about £17 ish. It's been up three years now and needs changing cos it's water damaged but it's cheap enough, and they come in many colours.63 mortgage payments to go.

In the meantime OP - until you've found a solution where do you live :rotfl:0

We have same issue.
Bought an extending shower curtain pole (£10 wilko) and a cheap shower curtain.
Problem solved but depends on the distance between walls0 -
Our window is over the bath, so we're stood right in front of it when we're showering too.
We bought a moisture resistant roller blind from Dunelm. We put it up at the start of April and now, 7 months later, it still looks as good as new. We leave it down for a while after showering though, to make sure it is fully dry before rolling it up.

We use a shower curtain. It matches the proper shower curtain and is easy to wash so no issues with blinds going mouldy.0
