I've got a massive sycamore tree that sheds tons of leaves this time of year - I don't like using a rake on my concrete path - any suggestions how to clear them?

Thanks DaftyDuck - I should have mentioned I tried using a brush but got my hands covered in blisters because the leaves are so stuck and compacted. molerat - that is more like it - they look perfect for the job - I never knew things like that existed.0

Ah... I see...
It did seem a bit too obvious!
How about a snow shovel, followed by one of molerat's suggestions? All leaves are hell to collect when they are wet and soggy!
Big wide blade, and plastic so quieter than a metal-on-concrete screeeech.
Garden gloves, or gripper gloves help avoid blisters.0 -

You'll never match the clean finish of a blower with manual methods. But it's probably not worth spending £200 on a decent blower just for one garden.0

Without doubt a Plastic fan rake. Very Light to use, no scratch marks and no screeching noise have used these rakes on gravel paths, patios, pavements and paved paths ... if i can't use as blower. It will last forever
