Doesn't seem to be possible if you want to keep using the secure key device rather than the digital secure key.
  • I switched away from FD recently and part of the reason was that they were the only Mobile App I had that rolled out finger print authentication on a phone brand basis.

My wife on her Samsung got it fine but me on my OnePlus 5t was deemed to be on an unsupported device. Running stock OS, using Android Pay/Natwest/Santander etc with finger print fine. Just not FD.

    Take care people.

There have been quite a few instances of people out with their fancy handheld devices with biometric 'passwords' having their drinks spiked and being taken to remote locations and having their devices accessed simply by pressing their fingers onto the sensor (or having their face detected).

Their bank accounts are then emptied and they are dumped (usually unharmed but minus their device) far away from any means of quickly raising the alarm so that the money can be whisked off through other accounts and withdrawn.

They then have a hard time convincing their banks that they didn't do the transfers - (edit) because they have very little memory of what actually happened.

    Just saying.

I agree wholeheartedly, which is why I retain my physical secure key for use setting up new payments.
