I'd love an advent calendar, last year I bought the M&S beauty calendar and I had hoped to buy again this year, but nothing in the line up looks any different from last year- ok so maybe one or two items but most look like last year's version. Has anyone feeling the same way found another calendar to take the place of this one? I know most are sold out by now but I thought I'd ask just in case.

I've just had a skim through the list of contents and while there's a lot of the same brands as last year, the actual products almost all seem different. I for one will be going to see if I can get one tomorrow from our local store.

I’m sure you’re right. Anyone clever enough to work out the cost of the actual items?
Also, do you think you can re-use the calendar next year, e.g. fill with little gifts for my grandchildren?

I will confirm once I get the actual calendar as the contents list isn't massively clear and is different in some ways to ones posted elsewhere but so far I've worked it out to be worth approximately £238.

Been a bit poorly today so unable to collect my order. It will probably be next week now before I can but I probably will. I can keep what I think I’ll use and gift the rest. Plenty of relatives who will be pleased to make use of them.

If the calendar design is the same, or similar, to last year, you can definitely re-use the calendar. My 7 year old granddaughter is really looking forward to making calendars for her 2 siblings, in fact. :):):)

It would appear to be sold out now, online. I have yet to pick my order up but will do tomorrow. I also ordered some Paddington baubles and these are sold out too. I can't imagine they won't get more of these things in, with a good few weeks to go till Christmas. They'd be mad not to.

If anyone is still looking and wants to use their 20% off voucher (Sparks members got this) they seem to have plenty in all of the larger and largish stores I've passed though.

Both Oxford Street stores had what looked like loads in- you can't miss them, their piled up as you go through the main doors! Also the Richmond branch- not a huge store but still one I'd say was fairly large had a few in too.

I've not been to any other stores so can't vouch for any others but if you'd given up because they are no longer showing online but did still want one, they can be bought in some stores and with the 20% off that works out to £28 for the calendar and the same for whatever you decide to purchase for the calendar (total being £56).

    Hope that helps someone!

I don't have one but am a SPARKS member - how do you get it?
