I have bought the Christmas chocolates that I give to my neice and nephews with some cash, I have bought my Christmas jumper.
Bought the Christmas crackers and given my daughter some money to buy a coat and pay a deposit on a holiday as her gift.
Don't know how many I will have for Christmas dinner yet will sort that out in the next few weeks.0 -
I have a red cabbage cooked and portioned in the freezer. Also, one large apple pie frozen and a quiche. Made about 50 little onion, walnut and blue cheese canap!s which are so handy as cook in about 10 mins from frozen. Today I am preparing a baked plum dessert.....yum! From now till Christmas I will be filling my freezer.0

Not a thing bought as yet and I have six birthdays before Christmas to sort out as well !!!!0

The only 'Christmas' item I have purchased really is a small artificial tree a couple of months ago, simply decided to get one there and then rather than wait till late November / early December as I suspect it may of cost a bit more 'nearer the time'0

I've bought 6 mince pies from Iceland.Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

We bought a frozen turkey crown last week as we had some supermarket money-off vouchers.
I've bought wine and chocolates for people who do some work for my business, and also bought presents for our great-nephew last weekend, the only child we buy for.
Cards were bought in January, we have enough crackers as OH bought some last year when we didn't need them. Should have enough wrapping paper. Most of the rest of presents will be vouchers or on-line purchases, so apart from a Christmas pudding (getting on Saturday from an Adnams shop), veg and card/present for my OH, we're just about done!
I've decided I want a new handbag from OH as my existing one is getting a bit battered, but as I like a particular style, this could slip past Christmas until such time as a suitable one is sourced.Make £2025 in 2025

I have made the Christmas Cake today. Bought cheese biscuits, brandy sauce and tinned ham (I know, sorry we used to have it at home and I just carried on)
Delivered around half of the Christmas presents. (That is only because around half of what we buy goes to my friend and her family and I see her beginning of November)0 -
Bought a tin of shortbread this morning, and a few bits and pieces for my nieces. In previous years it was simple: a few ‘girlie’ type toys, crayons, pencils, colouring in books that kind of thing
After the summer holidays I suddenly noticed the eldest girl had matured, grown up quite a bit but still not 11 until early next year. Now I’m wondering what to buy her. I don’t like giving money or gift tokens as I think it says I think you are worth £x I’d rather give them something of a lesser value and have them know I picked it for them0
