Stanley Boy nearly had me over in the kitchen this morning, gets under my feet . DH’s bro is here swapping over the kitchen doors and drawer fronts which were delivered faulty, we are trying to get everything done before Christmas ........ we are nearly there! I’m making my cauli cheese sat too, along with the cranberry sauce, got them for 20p a pack last year. Turned my nose up at them yesterday when they were £1.30 :rotfl:

I’m SW Herts, so maybe not too far from you. Yes, their call is very distinctive. Every time DH sees/hears them he shouts “Budgies!”

Oh don’t be fed up mhoc....why don’t you have a chill day....Christmas choons and a big glass of port with your lunch....then a film this afternoon. Then a bottle of wine with a cheeseboard for tea:rotfl:

Don’t let it stress you. It’s so nice when your children are older I think. There’s no expectation of toys you can’t find in the shops etc....just look forward to spending time with them. The big thing in our house is the food especially our Christmas dinner:D
My philosophy is if you get the gravy and the roasties right you’ll not go far wrong:rotfl: And if things do go pear shaped just open another bottle of champagne:):rotfl:
