The L&B has come back into stock and is on the mbuy on a.com now:(. It seems the triggers now are the Batchelor's cup soups and maybe the slim-a-soups as they are showing full prices on a.com but are on the 5 for £3 offer in A, if they are still on the offer in A. They might not work put as good, due to higher prices elsewhere as one (or however many of them you buy) appears on the comp. and compares, albeit at straight £1.07, against possibly the even higher prices of elsewhere - 10% off higher price (depending on the competitor) may lose a few pence - or pick one that's N/A for the competitor (if you can find which versions that is and which places they are against). I was going to add "or buy two cup soups that compare, against T's 2 for £2 offer, and 3 comparable against T Crosse & Blackwell Best of British" - however I notice T has taken away the mbuy on the cup soups:mad::mad::mad::p. I really dislike them! Mr Ts again:mad: - they are the worst competitor of Mr A for doing things like this IMO).0 -

Is the 5 for £3 Soup offer still on in A please?
Yes, it is showing on a.com so it will be on instore, but the Heinz L&B is also now showing in the offer:(. Therefore, it's not a trigger anymore but the Batchelor's Cup A Soups/Slim A Soups may be - they are showing full price on a.com:) - they were still in the offer a few days ago, when a.com said the same as now, but are they still in the 5 for £3 offer now? I can't see from a.com as, if they are, that is the glitch. With any luck, they will still be but if there is a glitch on them, as there most probably is, I can't monitor it from a.com anymore (as that's the thing that has been causing the glitch itself).
EDIT: I now notice that, above, you have posted that you bought the Cup A Soups yesterday and they came back full price. They were on the offer, as you bought them on it, yesterday - if they are still on the offer today, then they (and any other items bought with them - maximum total 4 units of those to avoid online mbuy) should still glitch.0 -
Seren, hope you get to be a lady that lunches, you deserve it xx

However, unfortunately separate baskets on this won't work to compare against W for the Kettle Bites as TBG does not compare against W. Therefore it would have had to have been only a shop against M - that actually might slip in today as I think TBG collects prices on Thursdays:D. However, they may update quickly, on the same day, so it is probably over now - may have been working between the time of my original reply and your reply to that, but now probably not:(. Might still be the large Kettle bags, but Kettle Bites have gone to full price in M unfortunately. If you try to target Tvs M on the Kettle Bites now, it could be getting CS off T's £1.50:( or, even worse, getting it off M's higher full price if the shop overall, of which they are part, comes out 'best' vs M:mad:.
EDIT: It may now have to be separate shops, one for Kettle 250g vs £1.50 M and one - open to Northern Ireland - for Kettle Bites in 3s vs A 3 for £3:rotfl:. Don't the Kettle Bites, if you have an A and a T equally available to you, work best on the APG without the CS with the Tom Ketchup trigger vs W? You mention £1 and 50p CS so TBG vs 3 for £3 A = £1 each and 50p each CS makes them 50p each. However, the high individual price of the Kettle Bites but the full price comp. on A vs W works out at less than 50p per the three items bought (2 Maple BBQ Kettle Bites - M mix and match may no longer work if APG updated to current M prices - and the Tom Ketchup). In A, it's pay 3 for £3 (for 2 Kettle Bites Maple packs and 1 Tom Ketchup trigger) and get £1.98 back = £1.02 for the three items or 34p each. Works out better than T even without the CS.I think....0 -

Thorntons Continental Alpini Praline

Item unavailable
The Lily O'Brien item is showing unavailable too but it is on the APG. Like that, this Thorntons product may still appear if the APG hasn't quite updated fully to a.com yet. May just need to be a little patient and wait for a day or two for Lily O'Brien to go properly OOS online and disappear from the APG - it will probably start working soon (on another day) - I think the shop may just have been premature (perhaps the product has gone Unavailable on a.com today but after the APG had updated earlier in the day - it should catch up by midday tomorrow if that is the case - or is there this 7 day thing where it lingers on the APG? If so, it should be appearing and causing everything else to appear at full price but it is coming up with the mbuy - I think it's just a little premature (and the original shop can't be rescued now unfortunately) - APG still has it in the system on the mbuy and hasn't quite updated yet).
I don't know if this search for a trigger is any good - as many of A's individual prices in the offer are too low unfortunately and don't give much saving that then, in effect, counts again in the APG from full price. Might save more money just buying one unit for a straight comparison than having to buy three.
One Ferrero Rocher off M's £3 price = £2.70.
Three items (whatever they are, presumaly two Ferrero Rocher, plus one trigger) = paying 3 for £10:eek:, then £2.60 APG = £7.40. Divided by 3 is technically £2.46 (should round to £2.47) which is cheaper than £2.70 by 23p:( - but you are having to buy threefold so are overall paying more. For the sake of 23.3...p saving per item on this, it's probably just to buy one pack of Ferrero. It looks like a glitch, even if one could be found that worked, is saving just 23p off the cost that buying one and comparing on the APG would give.0
