  • Afternoon Elite,

Hope everyone is keeping well. Been AWOL due to being in London. Currently in Starbucks letting my little legs recover.

Seeing a show tonight, but also had a message from DD to say that I've been issued with a fine for driving in a bus lane (it's one of those roads that closes to traffic after 10pm - I drove through at 11pm) bummer.

Nevertheless it could have been worse... and it's my first ever 'offence' so I'm doing my best to look on the brightside. Hope those who aren't feeling so good feel better soon, keep glitching!

If you wish to lose APG against S or W, I recommend picking up a 90p ASDA Wholenut Milk Chocolate Bar (200g) 1.62W 1.45S (n/a M/T)

I've now tried Potato & Leek on W's site. The product got picked up by the APG (or something at £1.10 did) and clicking on the "Add 4 for £3" offer (on w.com) does bring up the other soups in W's offer, so I can't see any obvious problem there. I don't know what they go into the basket as on w.com, either four of that one or mixed and matched? Maybe it's just a random combination that doesn't work today:(.
Someone else has tried potato and leek today and theirs didn't work either.:(

    Afternoon all

Had my eye test this afternoon and the optition fully examined with the microcrope my floater, nothing dramatic to worry about unless alarming symptons happens and then it will be obvious - its called PVD and apparently anyone over 50 can get floaters :(

    http://www.rnib.org.uk/eye-health/your-guide-posterior-vitreous-detachment-pvd/posterior-vitreous-detachment-PVD

ALmost no change to my prescription but I chose some new frames. I was wondering if I should go for a PRu Leigh look but they had nothing similar so I got Cath Kidson florals instead :)

Nero - used my OOOOO2 offer - buy a cake and get a free hot drink - so £2 for a very nice slice of ginger loaf and a large hot chocolate with masses of cream. I have my blue stamping card on the tray so they put a stamp on. Then I fetch my phone out and pay with the Nero app because its automatically adding on 2 stamps - so 3 stamps in total. I now have a free hot drink card on the app so at least its something.
Sadly buying cake does not get you the crackers on the app :(

WHSmiths - finally got the free gold coins - sadly not the silver ones I wanted but at least they were free.

Morrisons - the disappointment of not getting a free mince pie till spit, not sure why only mums and babies are allowed them. I thought I was in the baby club anyway but it was some time ago. It explains though why I could not find anything on the website.
I only got OH his ginger ale - this used to be 2 two litre bottles for 80p earlier this year and now its 54p each bottle :(
Very few wombles and even then no mince pies, Christmas puds or crackers on any of the wombles :(
