Hope this helps a little...:)
no, it makes it worse :rotfl:

OMG, I never realised there are different types, some sets in pretty colours, different numbers in each set and some in nice cases or cloth holders - or does the holder get discarded and lost after the first usage ...
and such a range of prices as well ....
Also he says he needs one that is imperial as well as metric - are there sets out there that are bi-lingual????“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
"a decent set of Allan keys" - this one I can do. I know there are mechanics on the group or mechanic partners on the group has anyone got any suggestions - heavy duty ones as he works on big army vehicles and man trucks.
........................
"descent electric toothbrush" - he says he wants one with changeable heads so they can share. I am thinking though it might be better to get 2 electric brushes, less expensive ones but still a good brand so they have one each. They both work away a lot so I don't see how sharing a brush would work.
I wouldnt set much faith in a £10 heavy duty allen key set though.0 -

OK - now armed with tea so this is Eldest sons Christmas wish list - I know you lot like a challenge.
Its also Eldest sons birthday on the 17th so something from this lot has to be suitable to give him when we next see them, the weekend before Christmas (small enough to go in a case as they are flying out of Manchester)
No set budget
"some gym equipment for Home, dumb bells, sit up machine roller thing for the floor" - ignoring this.
They live in a little cottage and gym equipment will only get in the way unless its small things that will fit under the bed neatly. Besides they are not home much to even use it.
"an exp spa soon pack for “cards against humanity- we have 2 expansions already".
Does anyone speak x box and if so can they translate - makes no sense to me
"A spa day would be nice" - very expensive so I am also ignoring this. Besides they live in east Anglia and its a long drive to anywhere and they barely have spare weekends.
"meal for both of us" - I wonder if Groupon has anything but mostly they restrict things to weekdays.
"a decent set of Allan keys" - this one I can do. I know there are mechanics on the group or mechanic partners on the group has anyone got any suggestions - heavy duty ones as he works on big army vehicles and man trucks.
" language lessons at a college near me" - again I am ignoring this, very expensive and they are both away with work a lot so I doubt if he would ever be able to complete even a full term.
"any sort of gin" - got this one :T

Might be a good one to give them to put in the case so they have something to open on Christmas day (or rather Christmas Eve as that is their Christmas day)
And I've still got the pan set and knife set on the list from November so I have made no progress apart from getting a bottle of gin - hopeless I am
How about the Colgate Pro 250 toothbrush...£19:99 in a few places or £20 in Asda...You could use a few wombled APGs to get the price even lower..:)[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]
OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

thanks for this, looked at Amazon, not too expensive - fairly safe with this because Amazon have a good returns policy.
But I still have no idea what it is and no helpful pictures“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I had a look on Amazon for pictures, same price of £20 and it does look the business - black one for Eldest son and pink for GF.
Only a 3 month guarantee on Amazon though, must be places with at least a year.
Also reading the reviews though and now I am dithering - thinking maybe oral B version might be better if they do something similar ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
