I think you should be ok. I’ve usually spent bang on the £10 for the VC deals and they’ve always paid out.

The recent £40 Argos Card when buying from sains online through VC said in the T&Cs it excluded alcohol. My order met their requirements but I slung a litre bottle of vodka in DH’s order to bump the spend up (not reading the T&Cs) and they still paid out
