    Good morning lovely peoples

Thank you all for your supportive comments :A

My head is a little, if not a lot, more woozy than usual ( I don’t do normal lol) as I had a celebratory drink or two last night.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to decorate my cake as planned :o

    Keep safe and warm :A

So pleased for you JTS :)

    Good morning everyone.

We had a lot of rain last night, but has left our little village looking like an ice rink now  the paths walking Harley this morning were awful.

Has anyone else ever had floaters and flashing lights in their eyes. Started Saturday. Went to Optician who dilated my eye and said all seems OK but he's referring me. It's really annoying  Wonder if it will go away.

Yes I get this when I am tired or very stressed, but mine disappears.
  • That is excellent Marmie :T:T

Certainly far better than mine !

Do you have the flashing lights as well? I'm hoping it settles after Xmas when not rushing about so much.

    How old are you ?

Sounds like the vitreous humor in your eye is shrinking. Its one of the joys of ageing.
    *edit*
Read your later post, so I agree with optician. In less than one percent of cases, as the "jelly" shrinks it pulls and tears the retina, leading to loss of sight, should you experience any loss of vision (I lost about 25% in my right eye last year) go IMMEDIATELY to A&E.

Did I say IMMEDIATELY? Because the sooner they operate, the higher the chances of saving and repairing the sight. I was admitted within a couple of days and have made a full recovery.
