    1x Barratt Flumps (12g) £0.10 £0.10
2x Heinz Beanz with Pork Sausages in a Tomato Sauce (415g) £2.14 £1.50
Comparison total (compared products only) £12.53 £8.78
    +£3.75 cheaper
APG 4.63 burgers made up most of the difference.

I got a toiletry shop too but it's giving me message searched high and low and can't find results. The reciept isn't showing the 3 for 2 coming off and one of the items showing on it as £4.96. I got a tresemme, lynx for her bag and lip cracker. 10 items showing on reciept so don't know what's wrong??

So if you got 5 for £3, the APG returned £1.28 back to you (I can't cope with the 10% calculation!) and each tin actually cost you about 34p?

Is that right please, whizz kids?

    My maths work it out around 29p each. 4 x 1.07 = 4.28 versus 3.00 = 1.28 plus 30p for the 10% = 1.58 back on 3.00 spend so 1.42 for 5 tins.

That's even better! Thank you. I am never quite sure where that 10% goes. Quoting the whole lot in case it helps others.

Blacklist, I think I know what has happened, it happened to me. Look in the little window of the cracker and the lip liner in with the lipstick has a barcode on it which scans through the till if it is facing that way as opposed to the barcode on the cracker box. Frustrating I know.....:(

  • Hi all!

Just a post and run, the Salad Mines are calling:(

Few shops done today, Luscious Lips, Vaseline Lips, Dove Bags, Bulldog Trio, Nivea Shave, Mullers etc all worked ok:T

However the Aussie is now the same price in M, compared against T in the 3 for £10 though, so not so good:(

Will post results when I get back from work.

Hi bubbs :) I suspect that she has probably gone off cruising again. My reasoning being
    1. she was trying to get all her xmas shopping done last week
    2. she went around this time last year
    3. she last posted from Ikea cafe - probably Southampton
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OMG - you lot are so clever at this sleuthing lark :D

I will have to make sure I don't leave as many clues in future - yes we have been tending to go away at this time of the year - back end of November or early December :)

And yes I was trying to sort out Christmas in one full hit over the space of a week - the baton will be taken up again next week, still got the 3 big things on the list to contemplate.

And yes Ikea Southampton was the last place I had any good enough wi fi and even then it involved a lot of swearing and cussing :)
