Good morning all
mhoc....not sure if you've gone with the idea of hand cream for your sisters for christmas....or where you are planning to get it if you do....
Loccittaine have some and when I had a play round with the website this morning it seemed very easy to get a treats box free gift....the one with 3 small things in ....or a cristmas cracker "surprise" gift....so if you were going to split orders you could get some little extras too.....
I found 2 codes very easily online so I'm sure you will be able too if you need them
Quidco also have 6 or 3% depending on a new new customer or not
I'm spending the day trying to track down champagne in Iceland....£11.99 a bottle so they say but can I find any stocked......not yet....empty spaces but no bottles
I want 3 bottles in split shops with a couple of other things to get my festive bonus ....and have a stack of L2shop vouchers to pat with.
and then I want to find the Aldi advent calendar....went to lidl by mistake yesterday.
I'm struggling with christmas presents for 4 under 5's...2 boys in one family and 2 girls in the other...the paw patrol gift set looks good but its the same present for both in the same family....and then what to buy the others that still look similar in cost?......hmm....want to stay away from chocolate coins and selection boxes this year.
but my usual dilemma of my sister and BIL has been sorted and ordered....all thanks to one of Snap's suggestions last year!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I just got Superdrug ones....free delivery if you are a member and spend £10 or over
I got 5 x 9 rolls
Might be worth checking Wilko too.
Cashback has tracked on 2 accounts:)
Noticed you mentioned this earlier mhoc....I’m also giggling over mr mhoc in his pyjamas:rotfl:
Thank you. It was the fact you were getting 45 that flummoxed me, as I got 27 from SD with the TCB Halloween offer last week. I work very near a SD so can collect orders easily so no need for a minimum spend!0 -

Both on COS and CS with the recent buy 2 x 4 packs and get £4 back he’s only received £4 and should have received £8 (bought 2 lots, ie 4 packs). I’ve dropped COS an email and also CS, but had nothing back from CS since Sunday. Am I using an old email add please? clicksnap@quidco.com. I’d rather email them as can’t find another way other than to open a support ticket. TIA x
Hi, I had similar problems with the same offer on CS.
Bought 2x4 amstel, submitted receipt but CS offers said i had redeemed a different amstel offer and wrong cashback added.
I emailed members@quidco.com and gave them details including receipt id and after a few days they replied to email and adjusted my CS offers and paid correct cashback offer.

Oh that's a shame, we were all looking forward to the traditional agonising tussle with your sister and BIL Christmas present
Yes I am still fixed on the luxurious hand cream sets - I drove myself crackers last night looking at websites.
One website seemed to have mainly hand care for gardeners so that one was ruled out as only one sister gardens - or at least mows lawns, possibly does not actually do real gardening.
Ideally I want to make my mind up ASAP so I think I am going to have a play with the Locctaine website.
I did come across these Burts bees sets but I thought that the sisters just would not "get" Burts Bees so there was no point, a bit like Concorde, Burts bees would go over their heads.
But I think I will get 2 sets anyway as filler presents for Eldest sons GF and Eldest child who will def appreciate and use the sets - every website I looked at seemed to have different prices so it was very confusing.

I'm really scaling back on presents this year....I just can't see the point in buying for the sake of it,then arranging a day to exchange gifts with family that we don't really see from one year to the next.
I know Seren was asking yesterday about ways to skim down and I think I'm going to go along the lines with my extended family that we try to actually see more of each other throughout the year and exchange something small when we do....
We are all off to a "family celebration" soon....it seems to be the only time we ever get together anymore....so we will arrive all sit down catch up on the last year, comment on how all the little ones have grown up...pass over our "gifts in envelopes" as requested for the function....and all go home....and as we leave 6 weeks before christmas all exchange presents....
I am determined that this year I will say something about christmas gifts, suggesting perhaps the more regular meets than just a generic once a year thing....I would much rather bake a cake and take,or a bunch of flowers or plant handed over...or even some potoatoes grown in the garden as a gift that was given rather than some of the generic stuff we not only receive but sadly seem to give out more and more.
I think curl girl also mentioned something yesterday about a lack of thanks....yep that is evident with our clan too....many of the small children we now have in the extended family I've only ever seen once or twice...but I've always sent a birth gift, christmas gift, birthday card and usually I am rewarded by the face to face meeting at the christening where again a girt is required.....
never have I or my OH even received as much as a christmas card from some of the parents of these children....and as far as birthdays go they are all ignored too,
I know we all lead busy lives these days but is it really that difficult to catch up with others in the family for a coffee or breakfast at a cafe a few times a year if they really mean that much to you....
I just want to try and avoid the queue that seems to start to form from the beginning of November when they all jostle for a place in the present queue.
...and down I get from my box.....but at least I've got that clear in my head now.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
