Strange happenings were around me today.
I was walking to my car at lunch time, and just thought to myself 'I wonder why we dont get more punctures, as we drive loads of miles?' {royal we}.
I set off driving home, then about 200 yards from home, tick, tick, tick, tick...bladdy 6 inch slice of metal sticking in my tyre, grrrrrr!!!
    Cant believe it.

    Bet that’s not a coincidence.

Your subconscience was probably telling you something was wrong last time you drove the car...maybe a little noise or ........did your minds eye notice something different about how the tyre looked?

  • Thanks, it's a bit awkward with my DD as she is my only one, so there's been a long history of over-indulgence, and I think even a token present is going to come across as a shock.

Please explain to your dd now don't leave it to be a shock as that will cause you stress. I am sure she will totally understand and might decide to even things out she will get you one present from the whole of her new family.
If she is anything like her mum she will totally understand and support you.

Just remembered, home bargains have the small Christmas tins in. Very pretty and only 79p. I got a few last year and they were perfect for little stocking fillers, I made shortbread and it went down very well with a Christmas morning cuppa :D

Just a reminder for those doing hampers....get your cellophane in in good time. Lidl sold out early last year:)

For those interested, the Apprentice (BBC1 9pm tonight) is on P&O's Britannia, and they are being tour guides in Brugge. Sounds ideal to me. (Well apart from the ship, not my fav.)

I am watching love The Apprentice :)

Probably stating the obvious, but with the current run on high value APGs, you will hit your £100 limit quickly ... so keep track of the total (probably 4 x £20+ on one account to avoid losing any of your total).

Remember the APG uses Email as the identifier and needs a postcode to set up ... but it needn’t be your postcode ;). Personally, I don’t use my home account (linked with credit card) for anything other than C&C.
