Heathcote & Ivory is nice, mhoc.

oo, that sounds interesting - I had crabree and evelyn, cath kidson, locctaine mulling around in my head ...

I am now wondering about hand cream sets in tins ... but possibly the really tiny ones might look too tiny.
I am thinking of tins because we all have an obsession about tins.

But hand cream is something practical and usful but still indulgent and something they would not treat themselves to

I had a look at the locctaine website and the tins look good but £22 is a bit over the top - even though I dont have a set budget :)

I also went to Poundland today and they have the beer crates with either a grey or white shabby chic painting - they don't look very substantial - not sure how many bottles they would hold but you can always use things like port scratching packs to act as padding.
There is also time to repaint them - sometimes in B &Q they have sample pots in the clearance baskets.

    Evening all!

Mhoc - I bought some of these a couple of weeks ago. Some were very faded and shabby looking but I saw some more on another shelf that were more 'properly' painted so it would be worth checking for different ones rather than paying out time and money to paint them yourself. I'd say they take 3 500ml bottles, but otherwise two bottles and a nice glass or some fancy nibbles would definitely work well.

I've seen photos on FB of them being used for various little hampers too, probably cheaper than buying a hamper basket kit.
