  • Good morning all, cloudy one here.

Have a busy day today, clean out the birds, get some shopping in, and marzipan the cake among a few other things such as hoovering and general housework. Need to sit and have a cuppa and then breakfast first though.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

The 2000 sign up deal did, not sure of the 1000 bonus, but then it is invitation only. If it did appear it would probably kill it.

Have we found an alternative route yet? They will be putting on extra coaches or running with empty trains . It would be good to spread the load on the network if we could :A.

We can't help that people want to go to these two places though ...

I've reluctantly changed some clubcard deals (about to expire) to pizza express vouchers. I say reluctantly because there are so many codes around for PE that you never end up paying full price, so no way are the vouchers worth three times the exchange value.

I really can't see anything else that I want and at least we do occasionally go to PE. Have another £10 to change by Friday. Could be 2,400 Avios but we have an excess number so that seems a waste.

Have you considered using the voucher to buy something for 50p ( bowling/redspottedhanky) and having the remainder credited back to your account? At least that way you can extend the life of the vouchers and hopefully use later on something you want.

Cycling through my asda order history for toys i can rebuy/return didn't turn anything up...except for some clothes the wife bought that are still within their return window and now half price :money:

Edit: even better, the first transactions weren't bought using a quidco bonus so i have that to earn on top of a reduced purchase price

I only just used a £15 off ebay code that the mrs was sent and now she's got another £5 off in her inbox!

How come she gets all the deals? (Well, i say "she", it's not like she even knows she has an ebay account :rotfl:)
