The Black Friday tickets book at least into February - did not go beyond that. Some dates did not work - I did wonder if all the allocation of Advance Tickets for those dates had already been purchased, seeing as everyone is booking the same route.

If you are buying a ticket on behalf of a job hunter rather than a child, then the process does seem quicker and easier.

Thank you to everyone who has posted about the GWR offer. Finally caught up and have been successful on both the 2000 and 1000 bonuses.

For those with the second 1000 bonus email, this can be used as many times as you like, including multiple tickets in one purchase, each ticket getting the 1000 bonus.

I've not had the e-mail and have just tried again for Monday hoping for the Black Friday price but no joy. Oh well. Win some and lose some... Have just read previous post and will try again later. Thank you very much.

No, pale blue and white! and I do have a spare navy and white which is about 25 years old.

Oh Pippa, me too! I used to make cakes with it when I was a child and Mum gave it to me ages ago. Finally, because the feet were worn and it overheated I think, it died and I lasted about a week before I got the same model again (had lots of accessories) on eBay. I use it loads and have got some extra accessories from the Kenwood Chef Restore website. It's sitting on the counter in the kitchen now as I've just used it to make my Christmas cake. Normally it lives in the corner, on a plastic chopping board so I can slide it around rather than lift it out of the corner (but I don't use it on that).

If anyone has problems with Reading to Oxford, Reading to Shalford/Gatwick is Great Western, plenty of stops to play with on the stopping trains (my local line).

My mum's one was pale blue and white, talking about 50 years ago though

I had put it down to some kind of a glitch arising out of accessing the site originally through that email as I have not been able to get the tickets through one account that did not get the 1000 point email.
Would be happy to be proved wrong as then everyone can book additional tickets.

Just a word of caution though - I am pretty sure this is not intentional and therefore could stop at any time and people (me included) are laying out cash.

If you collect nectar points you need to get signed up to GWR and start buying tickets from Reading to Oxford next week!
So you are just going to GWR.com, signing in, and buying a child ticket for next week? I have tried that and its only saying 4 points? :(
