Thank You All for the Birthday wishes.

Added 2 family members to my Nectar card and booked them on the train, using the details showing in my account. Booked on Thursday, points showed, but they haven;t been added to my account.
Is there anything extra you need to do to get family points added?

;) I always said you were my favorite

Was going to suggest what you said later, spend instore to get a point or 2 on your card, then it should work the next day.

Have you started from the page that tells you about the offer, and filled in the details on that page?

Yes I did. It worked fine for the 2000 points so I went back to the page to try and get the 1000 point but no luck !

Thank you to everyone who has posted about the GWR offer. Finally caught up and have been successful on both the 2000 and 1000 bonuses.

For those with the second 1000 bonus email, this can be used as many times as you like, including multiple tickets in one purchase, each ticket getting the 1000 bonus.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I think this must be a Black Friday Special - I have just logged into my account without going through any of the links & booked my child on the train every day next week, on the same order, 1000 points for each ticket - :j :j :j :D:D

Not just my grumpy one then! He's mixed plaster in the Kenwood too

A few weeks ago he was going to take MY stick Dyson to vacuum up after rubbing down the old paint on a metal fence outside:eek::eek:
No chance matey - you b*ggered the last one with plaster dust!

At least my OH has now got his own hoover - gave him my old Dyson to keep in the garage when I got my Shark :D

    GWR.

So, people are buying £10 worth of points for £2ish, and £5 worth of points for £1.50ish.

I have not tried the 1k points...not sure it's worth the money.

I have managed to get 1 x 2k with main N card, but also have two other separate N cards, not tried for the 2k with those yet.

I'm having to struggle on doing it on my phone as laptop won't let me sign into GWR because of the stupid captcha thing.

£1.50 for £10 of points (during double up) or £5 normally?

    Seems worth it to me.

It is a struggle on the phone as the accessibility option makes some areas of the form inaccessible due to buttons overlaying .

Does anyone know if you can use the same GWR account but change the nectar card number?
Of do you have to register a separate GWR account?

I doubt it as the account will have already had a card linked to it.

They will need their own accounts.

Just throwing this one back in the mix for those who have not added this one to their list of journeys..

2,000 bonus points when you make your first booking with Virgin Trains.

I can't get onto the nectar website to check my account. All I get is an error message whichever link I try. It's been like that all week since I got to Sri Lanka. I've tried every link I can think of but no joy.

I didn't get the email sent to me, and unfortunately the link which was posted wouldn't give me the extra points either :(

Can I just state that the GWR site is utter carp!! I thought I best take Rebecca with me on my trip, as she would be upset being left home alone. And can I manage to book a trip where the points work, can I hell. I can get the points on when I have 2 tickets added, but delete one, and the site either goes into meltdown, or the points disappear. Leaving it for an hour or so, then will try again.
