Dave - also regarding Cunard, they sent me a letter today with a code for a 10% past passenger discount code valid only on Cunard fare for sailings between April and November 2019.
so on a £1000 spend get £100 discount, pay with the Amex and get another £100 credited to your account.
I am wondering what there is in November, the cheap end of the year and something with a lot of onboard credit. But too much on todays To Do list to even look.
The only fly in the ointment is that our annual travel insurance is due in March so I am not sure if you are covered if you pay a large deposit for a holiday that is not until November

Mhoc I'm almost certain that you would be covered for your holiday up until your insurance expires, and then you'd be covered again once you renewed it, if you see what I mean. Otherwise annual policies just wouldn't work!

I am dreading renewal time for the travel insurance - hence why I've got nothing booked for 2019.
OH has regular visits to the doctors and comes back with medication he has no idea what it is for or about its usage or side affects or how they will react with everything else and then he does his research and gets horrified and refuses to take whatever it is ... Try explaining that to a travel insurance company!

I can see how that would make things complicated :(. Maybe you could try a 'dummy' quote with his current conditions/medications in and see what comes out?

Just doing a Marks order - I missed the £1.69 pink cardigan - probably only one in the entire country!

On my Sparks though I've got an opt in offer for a £1 hot chocolate in the cafe for use within 9 days - its on the other card as well but not the unused card with 0 points - so just active and in use cards

Its probably just a small one and not the luxury version with the marshmallows

I have £25 of tesco vouchers expiring this month. I can't think of anything I want.

In the past I have converted to Avios, but we have an excess of Avios at the moment, so this contribution would to small to make a difference.
