Last year we had 12 months of virgin at 11.xx a month all in, so far this year we have had 4 months of BT where they paid us just under 200 net and now 3 months of SSE on which we are currently up 50 quid. Ideally we are looking for the biggest upfront bribe with a company that has form for in contract price increases.....
Wow! How did u manage the 11.xx all in. I obviously need to learn your tactics. Any help would be appreciated for the next time I renew my contracts. TIA.

I doubt very much that the Govt will introduce this, if and it is a big if, it would be a phased intro.

I would like to see the source of this ‘info’

it is a scare story at best.

MHOC you and I are sooo alike.
I dreaded the thought of having OH around but fate lent a hand and I got permanent home leave early.
He is unwell but as we have the small business we have handed it over to DS1 and OH goes in and "helps" .
He still thinks he is in charge and is invaluable for estimating etc but despite his reduced activity does he lend a hand ...does he heck ?
I noticed the other evening we were having dinner and watching tv and he had been served food, drink, snacks, drinks - you get my drift..... but as soon as I asked him to let the dog out he was off to the loo as he needed to go , yeah right.
We do tend to bicker a bit if theres a job to be done but its always me that instigates the work and him that starts the bicker.
I told him last night that the house would fall down around his ears and he wouldn't even notice as he is oblivious of his surroundings !

I have given up with my DH - he frequently asks me if he can do anything to help but only after about 11 ish after, breakfast, papers, crossword, coffee etc. By then I have usually done it all. He's OK with diy and heavy stuff in the garden but he is totally blind to what he regards as womens stuff. He is 88 though and its probably partly a generation thing.

Morning all. Do we know about the £8 M & S meal deal. One and 2 sides/ desserts. Picked up 2 mains and 4 full size New York Cheesecakes. Cost £14 with £2 off Sparks offer.

Cheesecakes in freezer ready for Xmas - handy for quick dessert and you can dress it up - make nice Xmas scene or pour a fruit sauce over.

Just have to ignore that they are there for the next few weeks though!
I never get food vouchers for sparks now :(
Only 20% off tights (never wear them)
    10% of some other clothing.

My Oh is also the result of a "my boys" attitude from his mother, if only she had borne a girl or two things would have been so much easier !!

Must log in and save it to your PP wallet though.
Am I right in thinking once saved to Paypal, we have until 24 Nov to use it?

Are you tempted by the Cunard one?
Just wondering about the last minite deals.
The first time we went on Q V we got a last minute for a week in December for £499 each - and a balcony but that was going back a few years - it was a bit of madness but it turned out to be fabulous.
Totally, had a great time last december, so looking at a new year one this year, but getting the animals looked after is probably going to put a stop to it.
