I snoozed and losed today. :o

All the cheap tuna was gone, end of aisle too, not surprising as both places marked up £1.13.

There was 3 pack in spring water on the shelf and the 3 plus 1 free on end of aisle so I got them both scanned but both £3.50. :(

I shouldn't have stayed so long in my dressing gown today but I was soooo cosy. :o
I had the flipping tuna on my list, but what with the snow, new hairdressers and organising grumpy's birthday/retirement do I forgot!!! No crisps, eventually got the buttercream, but had to go and pick up another mag as despite me organising, couldn't find the voucher!
But, have a fab new hair do.. stories about the salon tomorrow!!I think that Grumpy has had his best birthday (week) ever! 12 of us in a minibus to local Greek restaurant. I called in earlier with balloons and paid for 'table wine'.
When we got there one of our party tried to organise, I soon put him in his place.. lol..
Table not ready  but 5 mins later, all sorted, great food reasonably priced wine and a fabulous night.

Just as well I've been frugal this month!

I didn't finish filling the car up today as I've got free O2 tickets to see Overlord in the morning so it's a trip to Southampton, that will make a bit of room for some more petrol. :rotfl:

I've still got the salad dressings and chilli sauces in my boot from earlier in the week, I best get those out before we go.
    Not just me then..

My challenge with the washing is, of course, still continuing, in my attempt at saving money by no longer drying clothes on radiators indoors. We've had a few bad days of weather lately but I have decided that today is the day to do the washing:huh:! Wish me luck. They've changed their mind slightly again though - increasing by a few percentage the chance of rain for me overnight but now deciding there is less chance of rain before sunset today. I shall be getting the clothes out to be there before sunrise. I thought that when I put some in the machine a little while ago, they would be ready by ten past one. It's now nearly quarter to two. But, I shall see, they'll still be ready by ten past one:D.

So there we are - clothes already well in the wash at quarter to two to be ready within the hour at about ten past one:rotfl::j:T

Weather will be cold but dry is my reckoning. People will think I'm being daft but I'm giving this one a go to see how well (if at all:rotfl:) it works. The washing has supposedly all today and all tomorrow to dry - rain is forecast for me on Tuesday. Actually it felt a bit chilly earlier (at about 8 and 9 o'clock yesterday evening (Saturday in my terms of course)) but it now seems to feel a bit warmer:huh:.

I also saw the moon when I went out a short time ago. Wonder what happens to the moon when the clocks go back - does it like... move back to where it was one hour earlier?:rotfl::rotfl::D

Boo - they're ready now at two minutes to two:eek:. Sounds too late - but I'll be out and back in after one when I've put them out.

Went to an Extra for the Tuna. Only the sunflower was RTC, but shelf was empty. Got a member of staff to scan them all to check the prices but the spring water and brine were both £3.50 (exact same packs as pictured on here 3 tins plus 1 free)...anyway, I then found 9 packs of sunflower (3 tins) hiding behind spring water at the end of the aisle, and these scanned at £1.35....so determination paid off. Thanks MKS

    You are welcome.

Scanned at £3.50 in mine. Are we looking for the 3 tins+1 free?

    Yes, that’s right.

Thanks for the headsup on the tuna and suncream. I have been looking at the suncream on the clearance counters in various shops but have not seen any as cheap as MKS got so will keep hunting.

They also had lots of self tan products as well ranging from 30-44p. Also the Nivea children’s roll on sun cream.
