Just popping in before time for visiting mum

If Mrs Aj is about I have been to Tesco :p this morning and stocked up on crisps I was brave 7 lots in one shop and they had the cheese and onion ones in :j:j:j

I was chicken though wanted to try the bbq ones but read on here they don't work so didn't want Mrs Trouty Troutface calling over and cancelling my crisps :D
I managed to get some crisps yesterday, 1st time, just got two chicken and 1 BBQ, went on SS and accidently put 3 chicken through :o SA was fine and just did mocs :)

The BBQ ones are really nice! Taste like the BBQ Rib flavour Walkers used to do.

2nd time in and got other bits (Lenor/Magnum) and 4 crisps, used the hand scanner thingy, scanning 4 chicken.
At the till, it let me scan all the mocs without an SA EXCEPT the crisp ones.. young jobsworth came and tried to say they only work on the ones in the picture on the moc, I said it doesn't specify but jobsworth was adamant, but offered to show me on another till - she tried only scanning the BBQ then said see it doesn't work, but I asked her to try the chicken and she was proved wrong lol.
I swapped one pack of the BBQ for chicken but sneaked through a BBQ as it was at the bottom of my bag and she just took my word it was chicken :p

Going to try a different T tomorrow, hope to get more BBQ, if not I'll try swap at CS.

    Morning all!

Two lots of petrol and two Debs gift card got me two 500 and two 200 so nothing to shout about, but I swear I heard the SA tell the bloke I front of me that he'd got 5000 :(

I then tried to rebuy some perfume I'd already ordered on Debs and it wouldn't let me use two gift cards. I checked the Ts&Cs online and it said two per order but I think it has to be two that completely cover the cost of the order as it kept saying 'insufficient funds' when I tried to use the second.

They didn't have it in store so I'm hoping they'll let me refund my original order and rebuy using gift cards, otherwise I'll be buying my own Christmas present (sorry SSM!) as I've spotted some nice bits in Mantaray :rotfl:

Also, 8 bags of crisps all done as separate transactions with a friendly SA on self serve. Plus 12 four packs of John west tuna in spring water for £1.35 a pack :T https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/john-west-tuna-chunks-in-brine-4-x-145g-tins-113-also-available-in-sunflower-oil-or-spring-water-for-135-tesco-instore-3092034 marked up as £3.50 on SEL.

Reduced to clear in t £1 for a four pack. Had the tuna in spring water @ £1.35 for a four pack.

Fusion crisps worked, bbq ones didn’t but sa put it through manually.

I saw this last night on Extreme Couponing, and found empty shelves first thing.

Called into my local on way home and empty spaces, but bingo at the end of next aisle on the extra shelving, it was full. The SEL was still £3.50 but sunflower scanned at £1 and the Spring Water and Brine packs were £1.13 each

First 'proper' money I have spent in Tesco for a very long time lol

I did quite well at S's this morning. 1 x 2000, 1x 1000, 5 x 500 and 2 x 200. Not as good as some, but for diesel and other bits I would have bought anyway (apart from 2 lots of ill fitting clothes), I did okay. Going out with OH later to fill his van so we will see how we do then. Also got £10 cash back n granola that was out of date so needed to go straight back after I scanned receipt (I did see this before I bought it :))

Considering going to T's but am sure all the crisps will be gone, so may wait until the morning and go then instead. Really have enough as we do not eat that many crisps, but still have coupons to use and going to do the family a merry crispmas carrier of them so they will not get wasted.
