SAVVY - I still haven't copied stuff from your lists yet, just updated from my notes

Don't worry - I haven't even updated my list on here yet (although I do now have a fully updated hard copy that I am rechecking instore today). Unless you mean my copy of your list - in which case, not to worry (I'm nowhere near ready with mine on here yet).

Skittles 50p on end of aisle in !!!!!!, 11 packets in each

    IMG_20171107_123537536.jpg

Another one I will be removing from my list now:rotfl:. Unless I see them cheaper today - 75p:eek: RTC in M. They may be available on a random store's RTC shelf at cheaper store-specific price. They had better not go any lower in T - as that now matches the price I bought mine for due to temporarily incorrect signage in one M (and I had to buy two). They could be an attempt at a filler on a TBG (fwiw, as probably nothing good vs M:rotfl:) as they should not compare to an RTC at M. Careful they don't pick up M's price in error though.

I can't immediately find where I posted about Lyons Viscount biscuits and moving one pack from Tvs M to another Avs M (2 for £1). I am now taking that one away again. I've found Farmfoods at 39p. Anywhere cheaper than that? Similarly, Toffypops are 39p there although I haven't ruled out Poundstretcher potentially having them somewhere cheaper - I can't do that however until I visit every Poundstretcher in the country (probably finding no trace:rotfl:), so obviously that won't happen. Check your RTC shelves! Oh... as you're doing:o:):T.

Generally x7 years. Smaller dogs live longer generally so more like x 6, larger dogs tend to have shorter lives for more like x 8. Berry and Noela are 20kg so I'd class as medium so it was x7

Poppy is 9 from memory so probably about 60?

I have reviewed my Christmas gifting due to recent events, my DD is now in a blended family with 2 adults and 4 under-10s, so in effect the numbers have doubled for the long term, and including birthdays there will be an all-year effect now.

I have reluctantly decided that the only way forward for me on my current budget is to buy for children only until things improve.

Has anyone else ever had to be this restrictive, and was there any fall-out?

My DH is one of 6, so that was 12 including OH's to buy for (plus parents and others). Then we all had kids - now 19 in second generation!!

So a few years ago we decided that the kids always got enough anyway and that we would draw names out of a hat and buy one good present each. We all get together on Xmas day and have a massive present opening. Now that lots of the "kids" are grown up they've started the same idea amongst themselves.
