Hi Tinyshoes - I thought I got lucky finding some yellow stickered oatsosimple in Tesco I paid 75p for 20 but according to the dailymail it is linked to cancer/weedkiller. check out today dailymail and have a read and see what you think. I might take mine back even though I have not got receipt as I am a bit concerned about eating it. I do know that papers like to scaremonger though.

By the way trulymadly and freewheeling you got ripped off on your tortillas I paid 5p. Cant believe I got something cheaper than TM!

Oh no thanks matty I will have a read. I seem to have lost my receipt for todays shop too. I've been out to the car and checked the boot but can't see it anywhere. :(

Doesn't make good reading does it.

We always try to buy organic if paying full price for something but I see the organic oats had the biggest amount of glysophate found. And I have a couple bags here. :(

Monsanto have a lot to answer for.

I'm not sure there is anyway to stay clear, if it's in grains then surely flour, bread, pasta would be affected too. As Mr TS points out organic farms/fields are probably surrounded by other farms and fields so is there really a way to eradicate all the nasties from our diets.

I guess the way forward is to have a very varied diet. I don't have porridge every morning, I think I am just going to enjoy my bargain as sadly I won't know if I am any better off with my bags of organic oats. :(
