Talk about fun and games.
Went to Superdrug on Wednesday, picked up some shower gel (stocking fillers), and thought I would pay with my points. Anyway, the total came to £3.46. I started with 520 points, supposedly earned 103 points (not sure how that came about) and ended up with a closing balance of 123 points. Now, in anybody's books even if I didn't earn points I should have ended up with 174 points, with the points I was supposed to have earned I would have ended up with 277 points. Could I convince them in the shop? I gave up in the end, didn't have time to explain the finer points of mathematics to them
Anyway, I contacted Superdrug through the website, sent a picture of the receipt when asked to, they came back saying "
I'm not sure what's happened there, so I've just added the 500 points back on - they'll be active in the next 48 hours." So free shower gel! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thanks, but not on my account.
Why don't you make soup?
Afternoon peeps.
About to do taxi duties, yet again......
Not sure where the message went that you were quoting, but cannot find this on our accounts either.
We wouldn't be carving pumpkins just yet though - still 11 days until
Halloween and they would rot if carved too early.

It appeared very briefly on my account and then disappeared within a few minutes so I thought I'd better delete the message! It might show up again though."Rain is grace; rain is the sky descending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life."0 -

Please note as I often dealt with this when I worked there that the points expire exactly 365 days after you've earnt them, it catches a lot of people out before Christmas who have amassed a lot and then they just disappear x0 -
As expected staff in different stores are interpreting the crisps coupons differently. Some will accept them for fusions some wont, despite the coupon scanning fine. The occasional staff member insists on one pack per transaction, but most are happy with several at a time....I think 6 packs was the most I did in one transaction...without any other shopping.;)
Thanks for the lenor info anon :T. I have stopped using fabric softener to see if I can live without it....not happy with what it was doing to my old machine, so having just purchased a new washing machine I am going without at the moment. The lenor however will be gifted on to a lovely person who provides me with free wood for my log burner...its good to shareKeep Moving 2018 challenge.
