Thankyou so much everyone. It means a lot.

I've a lot going on so TM you could be spot on. Thankyou for taking the time to write that out for me.

Yesterday got me so bad as a simple shopping trip to get a bit of veg with my oh had me quivering in the car beside myself with distress. It hit me like a ton of bricks how hard I find it to function even with an aid (oh).
Work, I'm still going from strength to strength (unbelievably) & the compassion that I have for others due to my own understanding gained from my mh situation has not gone unnoticed. So very proud to be making a difference in the NHS :) xxx

Hope everyone else is well xxx

This will be 3rd time lucky as two posts have disappeared

I have done one freezer and agree with TM that ready meals are not as good as HM but its hard to look at 30p for a meal and ignore it

I have been good with my frugal ways this weekend trying to use up bits and pieces and I have dumped a few bits into the food recycling bin that realistically I am not going to use anytime soon

    Sometimes space is more important

TM I envy your way with words :A We met a couple on holiday and the husband had MH issues I was happy to share my experiences but DH actually fell out with me I tried to explain his wife was anxious about her husband and I was an anonymous face to share her worries with

If more people are open it helps others

    Glad today is brighter ccj

    Our council are great

We have a waste bin for food and misc garden waste which is lifted two weekly

If the house has extra garden waste it just needs to be bagged and a phone call to the council ensures a free uplift :T

We have to pay here too, or we did - OH 'converted' the garden waste bin into a compost bin!

Last year we had our small front garden paved and now can't use all of the compost so he bagged up all that was in (some swapped with a friend for veg!) and now he is slowly cutting up the old bin and putting it in the recycling bin!

Son, who lives 'Down South', doesn't have to pay for their garden bin and they can put food waste in it too.

we have a bin for general waste, one for cardboard, one for tins and glass and one for food and garden waste. theyre on a 3 week rota. we also have a kitchen compost bin and get free compost bags. before we got those we had a compost bin and a bran compost system. cleaning that out was possibly the worst thing ive ever done in my life!
