I am with them as i was with Iresa when they went bust,. Not had a problem so far. Good at communicating, easy transfer and website seems straight forward.
The only thing is that the debt is at the new rate which is a lot more expensive and I won't get warm home discount with Octopus so I'm going green and switching to Bulb .0 -

Not valid until the 17th Oct......
Don't worry just a week to wait - be patient! Dear, you'd think everyone was moaning like me, wanting everything for nowt immediately! The mags have now landed in my T (possibly hurried on by my enquiry last night) and I managed to get 'a few'. I also managed not to get caught by any reductions into buying anything:money: - I didn't have time to stop as I was on my way to Sparks:cool:.
If I had been here, on this forum, this morning it would have been:
October. A nice summer's day:rotfl:.
Tomorrow I gather it's all downhill:(. But not to worry as there was one day to make the most of. I am attempting a challenge for the autumn and winter - we don't have a tumble drier (which no doubt would cost a lot to run anyway) so we normally start using radiators to dry clothes indoors. They also help keep us warm when it, unfortunately, gets too cold (I haven't resorted to them just yet you'll be pleased to know) but because of harmful fibres released to the air from indoor clothes-drying we should - and of course if we should I do - have the windows open if drying clothes which then rathers defeats the point as it blows a cold gale indoors (and the clothes on the radiator also stop us getting warm). I have decided, this year (into next), I am going to attempt to dry clothes outdoors only. Wish me luck as it approaches winter and short days make it harder. (I am allowed to cheat a little by having the back door open and bringing the clothes just inside for short periods of rain outside:(:(:( but no radiators:cool:.)
It's not temperature that matters, it's just dry weather (and hopefully enough lack of humidity in colder temperatures) and clothes will eventually dry if there is no rain (as long as they eventually dry within about two days they won't stink the place out and have to be washed again). I am going to attempt to coincide washing and putting out clothes with the single dry day each week or may need two in a row (wish me luck!) if there isn't much daytime. If the worst comes to it, and the clothes don't dry before they start to stink, they will just have to be washed again (sure that's better than having radiators on, trying to dry numerous clothes for hours instead of a full set of clothes outside on the lines) and, if they don't get quite dry, a quick blast with that hairdryer might do the trick. I actually bought it to finish clothes drying off if they were just short of dry rather than to dry my hair:rotfl:. Whilst it's costing energy, again a quick blast or two has got to be better than radiators on for ages (with set after set of rotated clothes until all are done).
If we get more days of rain, that means we simply have more clothes to put out for the one day when they might dry (since we are simply using up more clothes and then putting them aside for them to be washed whenever the right day comes that they might then dry). Even at lower temperatures, that weren't anywhere near freezing, in winter I managed to get clothes dry once by having them out early and taking them in at 4pm, so they did it by being out all daytime. I was long and more difficult and they were cold, but they did dry, by sunset. I need to do more clothes like that and not use the radiators at all. We just need a dry day or two every three days or so, which is what, on average, here in the UK we get. As I don't get up early enough, I am taking to doing washing at 10pm (not tonight though as tomorrow is not a fully dry day) and putting it out in darkness if it is going to be dry overnight. Or even if there is some rain but then by sunlight it is dry and the clothes then dry through the day - I put my clothes out when it was briefly raining, very lightly, once and the slight bit of rain did nothing to the clothes (they were already wet of course when being hung out) - instead they dried as soon as it came throughout the day. I have had no problem with spiders at night at all - today, on one or two clothes only, any 'problem' was with midges during the day. If the clothes are out at night, they are then out first thing at sunrise. I will avoid Bonfire Night of course as well as any days where tomorrow isn't predicted to be a dry day.
Anyway, while we have had a bad time with the weather in the last couple of weeks and a few bad run of days interrupted by spells of rain (bad luck as most else in the country was staying dry), there were one or two days on which I used as the window of opportunity for the clothes - and it worked. We simply had a lot of clothes waiting to be washed and dried for a few more days, while I waited for that one/two day stretch of good weather but we were nowhere near running out of clothes - just had to be flexible and change to something else (than then needed washing on top:(, but once that dry day came...). It was bad over the weekend, with a lot of raining I think if I remember, and some clothes again went into the queue, but the last two days have allowed me to dry everything:):). Particularly today (but yesterday was quite nice too) when, today, they dried quite quickly (needing to be turned round, I must remember that, as it was fairly low sun that wasn't always direct and somewhat cloudy at times yesterday) but the challenge will come over winter when they dry more slowly.0 -
Quite funny, today we nipped into Sainsbury so I thought I would have a look at shoes. I need a new pair of waterproof shoes/boots and found some that I like at £35, tried them on and they feel good, so promptly put them back. OH said aren't you going to take them then, I said not for a couple of weeks. We got back to the car and I suddenly realised it felt like he expected me to pay £35 for shoes  I asked him if he seriously expected me to spend that much, he said he just assumed I had something up my sleeve lol. Explained to him that nectar double up is coming at the end of the month and I was just planning ahead :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
