    Good evening Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.

Does anyone have any experience of Octopus energy please?

Been trying to do the maths on their agile time of day tariff but I don't know how much spot price shave gone up compared to the illustration period they have which is 12 months to May this year, a lot of the time they seem to be more than my current 11.46 unit rate although the standing charge is a little lower.

Not sure if the RAF applies to the agile tariff either.
    I think....
  • That reminds me

Patisserie Valerie has plunged into crisis after the taxman filed court proceedings to wind-up the popular coffee chain.
Investors were left shocked after the Aim-quoted company announced a “potential material mis-statement” on Wednesday and suspended trading in its shares.
Patisserie Valerie’s cash position had been “significantly impacted”, the company said, and suspended chief financial officer Chris Marsh.

Apparently HMRC have filed a winding up petition.

My Son has switched to them for his Student pad - he’s squids in apparently.

His Landlady got £50 for referring him, and he got £50 too

Sounds a bit fishy to me.:rotfl:

    Sorry, no.
    Some google results

    Octopus Energy
    Founded 2011.
    Which review https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/energy-companies/article/other-energy-companies-reviews/octopus-energy
    Seems not to shabby

Not Cashback on Qco or TCB

    Trustpilot 5 star https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/octopus.energy

    Smart Meters https://octopus.energy/help-and-faqs/categories/meters/

MSE article seems to be a £ 50 referer code thingy https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2018/02/an-energy-firm-claims-its-new-tariff-may-pay-you-to-use-electricity---but-beware-the-hype-/

I am with them as i was with Iresa when they went bust,. Not had a problem so far. Good at communicating, easy transfer and website seems straight forward.

Thanks for the Q answers. Just prize draws. I saw on the dark side about the chocolate orange and I’m going to get a couple for teacher/TA gifts and crochet some apple covers to go over them or xmas pudding lol. BnM was reported to have them for 50p but I wasn’t able to find any.

    Have a good day xx

    We will need photos remember:D
