TM I do my best to post goodies... but as my name goes... I am Forgetful!!! :P
Like Queenie...I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
I must say, I was a little disappointed that they were reduced down to half price from £1.50
I mean if they are free, I want them to be expensive:rotfl::rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

If anyone is looking at the Amex/ Amazon £5 back on £20 promotion, there are reports online that it is working for buying e-gift cards. That may be a safer bet than topping up your Amazon account.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. No magazines in my store today. Will try further afield. Thanks0 -
Spent my last APG tonight, self scan shop and scanned both bcs at checkout and it worked with no human intervention, never had that happen before. Still have the receipt and APG, won't try using them again but might return the really overpriced krave (2.99 cf 1.39 in T).
The A had lots of multipacks of fridge raider chicken bites for cos rrp bit I needed single bag 60g size that they didn't stock. 1 day only but perhaps it will be back tomorrow. Did get the skinny sausages. Funny tea drink is tomorrow to so hopefully will be in stock at S. Also 0% lager at t and look for the free crisps mag and the pork if it is till on?I think....0 -

Or even if it has started yet:rotfl:. See what I did there - picked on an ambiguity over the crisps as you were probably referring just to the pork. The pork may be better if the offer is actually off, but still displayed, so DTD (although I am again coming in on the back end of something I haven't read and probably got the wrong end of the stick again:o).
My 'joke' about whether the free crisps mag has started yet will be missed until I explain that I'm back from T, looked for the mags and found... my store is still stuck on September here:(. Apparently someone was asked to remove all of those earlier today but obviously hasn't done so. I don't know when October will be out in my store but I think it'll probably be in a few days.
There was no danger (but I should beware that I'm not being lulled into a sense of security:rotfl:) of me buying anything from the clearance shelf as none of the prices seemed any good to me. What I've had in the past will probably stop me from buying anything at all:rotfl:. Of course, if I ever did this properly, I should have requested faster CC vouchers so I could use those and not pay them any money (I am still to get my head around the 'faster' system), having decided that, for me, even quadrupling (or now trebling:() my points usually worked out more expensive due to the fuel costs of making journeys we would not otherwise have made to visit a few attractions we would not otherwise have visited (from the seemingly diminishing number available to me or else the same ones yet again). Again, if I did it at all right, I should book Megabus £1 tickets from here to the places I need and return.
Fortunately I am stopped from buying things nowadays due to awareness of prices elsewhere:T:money:. I walked past some Terry's Chocolate Oranges at £2 thinking "they are £1 in Asda and Morrisons". Morrisons is actually not far away from Tesco, although I wouldn't buy them anyway: my M now closed (with my T 24 hours) and, even though they are effectively absent from a.com, showing "Unavailable", and therefore I wouldn't have lost anything as it was the same case a few weeks ago and therefore they wouldn't have compared at A anyway, I still wouldn't buy them unless you want downsized (175g to 157g) products (downsized a few years ago) - making me wonder whether the mere transposition of a couple of digits was so that more people might not notice it.
I wonder whether more people might not notice it!!
Terry's Chocolate Oranges were one hundred and seventy five grams a few years ago, nowadays lower at one hundred and fifty seven!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Nice in bold and shouted from the rooftops.
"Bet you've read everything in the September magazine already several times over" the cashier assumed when I asked the question:rotfl:.0 -

if you try to use them again the till whether ss or manned WILL flag up as used already. you can only use again if they are put through as a manufacturers coupon0 -
(I was just checking that they are still 157g weight in T and haven't gone down now even further.) Good job I didn't buy those chocolate oranges at £2 big card:rotfl:.

Still a lower weight from what they were years ago:p.
75p = almost 83.6p in old money. Better than £1 offers on those of course but not as good as 75ps that were did get on the bigger weight at times from Superdrug and Morrisons. Nowhere near as good as the glitch a few years before at T on overlapping offers - that is what we now need to return to (we have had experts here on those) and need to be there around price change day (so I have had the sort of right idea, or happened to be there just before such a thing, but straight 75p price with no mbuy I feel isn't going to get us anywhere). Are there any offers ending in T that we need to be looking for (whether for old SELs and DTD or for a potential overlap with a new offer)? Sometimes these things could be found in T Expresses so everyone to keep a watch and let all of us know...0 -
I pay for everything savvy.
So do I. Whether it's paid for with APG vouchers, magazine coupons or CC vouchers(), it's still paid for with something.
In fact I think ordinarily - in other words unless it is a coupon that covers the whole cost of the product - we should probably avoid using coupons especially of the £4 off £40 type. They are there as incentives to attempt to incentivise us to purchase and spend money and I feel, more than half the time, they have us actually spending more as we are buying products we would not have bought at all without the coupon and only buying them because the coupon makes their price seem good. The cond. spends in particular try to have us spending more for the save of little off per product and probably buying products we wouldn't have bought. We'd be better buying the few products we wanted, even without the coupon being used, and avoiding by tempted by it, and not buying the additional products at all that we wouldn't have bought (except in reaching the £40 or whatever) as that would save more money. Again, I feel, half the time, if we'd just stayed at home and not even gone to look for whoopsies we wouldn't have bought whoopsies we didn't really need but only bought them because we we saw a reduction - actually spending more than the zero we would have spent if we had not gone to the store! I should not go to my T in the other direction now in case I am tempted by other things there... Especially not if I have only a debit card with me:eek:.0
