Not over 70 (quite) but I have had a bit of back pain and my son has very mild asthma. Rang NW and they wanted an extra 180 quid to cover us, entered same details on a price comparison site and the family policy was £50 in total so NW wanted more than 3 times as much just to extend the policy.....
Few years back I had a bad chest infection after holiday was already booked and I had already taken out an extension to pay for DD2, DD3 was already covered under the policy. I had to pay another £95 as I had been given 3 different meds and inhalers.
If I hadn't already paid for the extension for DD2 I would have looked elsewhere but decided to stick with it on that occasion. I did get another holiday in before the year was up so felt I got my money's worth in the end.
The main reason I signed up to the account was for the car breakdown as that worked out cheaper for the 2 of us than what we were paying, so the other stuff came as free extras for us. :cool:0 -

I've now just deleted all my A's accounts, all 67 of them.
So sad that there will be no more glitches across any supermarkets anymore.
That said, We had quite a few good years at their expense.
OR was it a ploy anyway.
I feel a list coming on
I only ever had the one.Can anyone else join me. :rotfl:

Everyone else would like the sound of that scamps but afraid I'm not a gravy person.
I like my meat dry. (DM behave)
If I do ever have gravy it is the tiniest splash on my veg but I can't stand it if it touches my roasties or yorkies. :eek:0 -

I noticed a few RTCs in Ts today for long life fruit juices.
From memory value apple juice 1l 44p carton and organic orange juice 1l 88p. Worth a look in the section as I'm sure I read over on the other side that value orange juice was RTC but none in the store I was in today.0 -

Not seen it mentioned but the free tickets to IDH@Xmas are available today. The weekend ones are already sold out.
If anyone fancies an MSE meet I have managed to get couple for the Wednesday.
Sadly I can't take time off in the week. I knew they were available from 2pm but by the time I remembered at half past the weekend tickets had already gone. So MKS, HG and TS will have to drink my share this year!“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller0 -

Gravy on yorkies _pale__pale__pale_ They have to be crisp on the outside, OH has gravy on his but I perch mine on top of my spuds so they do not contact the gravy. Love gravy on roasties thoughWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
