Drumroll.....£8.60. As usual, not perfect, the Fuel10k that I thought was on COS was only at Sains...then again it was a quid cheaper in A but wouldn't have bought it for £2-10%.

Now the fun bit of getting the CS to understand that altho9ugh APG is over they are still accepted.

    Your sure correct there...
Im sure we are gonna encounter some trout to say its ended and cannot be used!!!

There is still about an hour (maybe two) left to go out and see if I can find some more receipts from earlier in the day. I won't bother - I've got them all. People are holding onto them, bet they will be flying all round the car park tomorrow.

Unintended consequences spring to mind though - wonder if anyone's thought about how much dirtier or crowded with discarded paper their car parks may be now or extra work those cleaners have that I disliked just doing their own job through all of this:rotfl:.

£8.60! Not fair:rotfl:. Why is everyone getting £8 and £6 something? Me - 83p:(. Oh well, I was rewarded quite recently, in the dying days, with what has turned out to be my best one - £16 - very helpful to fill up the freezer with chicken breast fillets:T:T. Unless they go cheaper somewhere in the future:(:rotfl::rotfl:.

I claimed my last coupon today from Asda. Just to say a massive thank you to you all for this thread as I would not have known about this scheme if it were not for you. x

I am here in the future as I am finishing the M list (with the bit-old information). I have some A prices to amend - so you we be able to see (assuming M doesn't increase its price on chicken nuggets) to buy chicken nuggets in M and jaffa cakes now in A. Unless M has unknown to me gone down in price on the jaffa cakes - I will see no doubt next time I am there but I won't be updating the list. I know not everyone has both stores available to them. In fact, for me, after my house move several years ago, A is actually farther away (but only 'up the road') but the 10% and wombles made it worth it. I now have Sains. near me (virtually a street away) - always been there anyway:rotfl: - which I will rarely be using but I can walk to a T:(. I've never liked T, although I do shop with them when they are the cheapest on something. Actually there is a small A that is about the same distance as the nearest M and both of them near an Aldi but in the opposite direction. Now you can pinpoint where I am in the country:rotfl:.

On the M list, I actually have probably updating that can be done in a single day. About the same as I have managed to do previously on the Tuesday between Mondays and Wednesdays. I have lots of DVDs on there - I don't know what happened to those precisely as some of them went back to £5. Online was, last time I looked, suggesting some were now £5 (which was true of at least one of them, that I scanned in M last week) but that some were still £3. I might just take them all off. That'll probably solve stuff in one go - however I'll doubtless go through them painstakingly (without pain as I am used to doing) and see where they ended up. I'll probably leave them to the end and, on the other items, I might just take my time as some of it is historical now. Nonetheless, they'll be a few good RTC items that might still be in M or may now be seen somewhere in M cheaper, so it does have its uses to see if you come across these items in M over the next month or two (possibly a lot longer).

Savvy I went to do a last womble.. and have only got 1 with 42p...

By the way... I usually check my receipts at night... I find the expiry date of the APG usually changes at 1am...

so i dunno if this will be the case this evening..

I am waiting to see what happens to the APG site. Maybe our remaining APGs will go further if we really do see even lower prices. A grand total of my vouchers has yet to be worked out.

It's been fun, but also occasionally pressured having to prepare shops to be able to buy glitches. Lately I was getting at times a bit fed up with the M list so, from that POV, it will be ending at the right time for me. I would have kept though - after some time, I would have felt better once more and then going through Christmas would have been good, although now we will still spot good Christmas items but maybe look at them differently to before. I shall have to be careful I don't merely grab some from the shelf and buy them at their RTC price:rotfl:. I always lived in hope that something at A would compare to one of my cheap RTC prices, but usually the items were doubtless on clearance in A by the same time and no longer online. I did very well recently though, when one of my wombles compared against the air freshener that was on RTC in M (is on RTC still, somewhere, no doubt). There were three to choose - one would have been non-comparable, the other on offer and might have seemed safer and the one on RTC at the same price in M.

Finally I will be ending the M list, at the 'right' time, although obviously we didn't want the APG to end as it will undoubtedly cost us way more to buy groceries now. I suppose all good things come to an end and we will continue to look around for the best options available now. I think with people doing shopping away from A - and some saying they had not done a comparison shop for several months - the glitches did start to wear thin at times and had me waiting ages before I printed any APGs off - I have noticed I have already been shopping away from A for my essentials for some time, as the major supermarkets aren't usually currently the best places for some of those. If anything I was already using A less and less and getting only what was good from them.

Hmmm. That wasn't an invitation to guess my whereabouts but I will leave you guessing:rotfl:. Interesting where you think I am but there have been some misdirections from me along the way as well:rotfl::D:rotfl::rotfl:.

Bad luck ending with just that one. Tbh, I thought earlier today that it wouldn't be worthwhile going out as it is a slow Wednesday night when no-one is shopping. No-one has been shopping at any of my small As for several weeks anyway:rotfl:. Obviously we needed a busy weekend day, and I got several of those over the last few weeks, including one yesterday:huh: but that seemed to be at one store only and not the other - the other it seemed was on a very-few-shops Tuesday. I decided to go out, just to buy the few items I would be spending an APG on in a few days anyway, and might as well go tonight instead as I can still get wombles that I can't get in a few days' time.

I hoped the Kids fruit would still be showing 5 for £1.50 but no hope on that one. Watermelon packets are now price marked at 35p and SELs changed (in both my main stores). Apple and Apple & Grape Slices have now gone down to 30p each:( so no use with them as they would still be 5 for £1.50. The only hope is that, with a 30p price, the whoopsies might be better, or might be better sooner in the day. However, I've seen 2p at the end of the day on those and there's not much more they can do than that - I think the 'few pence' price decrease of the regular item won't make much difference.
