    Hello Petulia:T:T:T

    Where have you been?:D

    Hi Truly

It’s been a bit manic recently started a new job earlier this year so I’ve been lurking. I’ve enjoyed catching up but (sorry) will be lurking again on and off - missed the Elite over the past few months. Hope you’re all keeping well and sorry if I’ve missed any important news.

Hugs to anyone who needs them, Petulia x

It seems that overall I have done better than the price collectors last time. However I probably did have more stores than they work in. The price collectors do not have Regal Fruit Cake Slices for M - shame as A £1.25 and M £1.00. This was very probably absent from the collection stores. I have had stores where this has disappeared for me in the past and not found it in any store on some of my collections, some of them 'wider' collections but then I have, even on those, had fewer stores than in the past. Fwiw, I did find it this time - in one, possibly two stores (can't remember how many times I saw it or exactly where now:rotfl:). There is no problem on at least one of the Regal Cake Rusk packs, although they are currently full price in M - one of those compared against M, but then I know of at least two stores where the Regal Fruit Cake Slices have been absent but the Cake Rusk stocked at them. Come to think of it, I think my 'Fruit Cake Slices' store didn't have the Cake Rusks, but they are available elsewhere.

The price collectors haven't picked up a comparable to Reduced Fat Garlic & Herb Baguettes (430g). They are also incomplete on the Mission Deli Mini Wraps 6 packs, which M have at 50p but they are each against T at the moment at 47p. Fwiw, the APG collectors have the Original Wraps but not the Wheat & White. I had both of them, in one store only - but then again to be honest I didn't bother checking for them further elsewhere once I found them again in my store. Wouldn't surprise me that bakery items can be temporarily absent from stores - and some even disappear from stores entirely for a while, if they are brought in specially occasionally, such as these Mini Deli Wraps appear to be, and sell out in a store. I've only seen them in one of my stores, suggests they are not that widespread and their store that has them has probably sold out and gone no trace of the Wheat & White version. They don't have that version in any of their other collection stores. That's what I take from their N/A - I think it's not the price collectors not doing their job - again, like full price M and missing M mbuys which occasionally happen it's due to many of their stores not displaying the offer prices and I think their M stores are incomplete on the Mission Deli mini wraps.

However, the APG has put me down a further penny on the SP Tomatoes tins equivalents, after I initially came back with an incorrect price from my stores:rotfl:

M do seem to be having a clearance again on some frozen food items, so check in your M(s) if you have them to see what you can find there. I don't mean things like this

    Lifeway Frozen Kefir - Mango (500ml)£1.50 RTC:rotfl:
Lifeway Frozen Kefir - Raspberry (500ml)£1.50 RTC
Lifeway Frozen Kefir - Strawberry (500ml)£1.50 RTC
Lifeway Frozen Kefir - Vanilla (500ml)£1.50 RTC

but more widely. As regards 'incompleteness', I don't think the Mango version (why wasn't I psychic that there is a Mango version?:rotfl:) has only now gone onto RTC. Instead - how many months have I had the other three on my list? - I have, only now, visited a store that has Mango. I was originally even more incomplete when I started (and possibly still incomplete even now for all I know - which is why I suggest just look in your own Ms for frozen food RTCs as, even if you see my list even after I eventually update it, you may have something I haven't got in any of the stores I've visited) - I started off with only two of these Lifeway products in one store and then added a further one from elsewhere, which also had my original two - I then thought I was complete with three. Only to find, probably two/three months later, that there is one that my set of regular stores does not have. In fact my first store, that had the two, is not a regular store for me but my regular is the one with three (even if it had just one, or none, I would still keep the three having previously found them elsewhere, even if I was not seeing them regularly). To be fair, this is a range not in many stores (at least not for me) and only in one of my regulars. So I have, eventually, on a wider collection, including places I have rarely visited, got as one of those places, a place that has this range and has revealed Mango to me. There is probably at least one store that only has Mango and none of the three I had on my list originally. So, what bemusement again someone seeing my list would think there - as I add several versions they don't have and miss the one they can see:rotfl:.

I did indicate, when scaling back my collections last summer, due to other commitments requiring me to be at home, that I would be back to the incompleteness again. This is still off a 'scaled back' collection but managed to visit elsewhere as taken into a second day and found this additonal one. So it's scaled back, as in distance I can go, but nearly twice as many stores due to being done over two days - and the stores have found all the ranges that I am aware of from previously, including ones where I usually have had to rely on online of late as not got even in my set of usual wider stores. I have now found the Mortadella that disappeared from online months ago and I didn't have any way of tracking after one of my regulars ceased having it but found it's not on offer price anyway. (I think you should keep it off Avs M as it's on rollback in A at the moment, so A more than 10% cheaper than M, in case they have a store that happens to have this range in it.) I lost another item (that's never been online afaik) several months ago from a store I don't visit often but had gone out there having no trace elsewhere in order to find it as it was there before and found it wasn't there anymore. So I ended up no trace. However, it has appeared in a store nearer to me since which, whilst not one of my regulars, I have had a way of finding it again.

This will all be history about me doing my collections as they are ending this week. It's just an attempt to keep me up-to-date although I won't be seeing everything and my probably two remaining collections will be very incomplete. Hopefully, it looks like M are being kind to me today as I do not have much that is down as due to be expired, although I will need my store around 15 miles away as two 'expiring' items are there - I have an unrelated appointment out that area anyway so am there already - and another important set of items I need to see are from there as well. I can then have these stores and possibly one or two others on Wednesday, though I can't be spending much time travelling out as I will then not have any time to update the numerous likely unchanged items from the big collection I've just done last Wednesday/Thursday, and need to get a lot of that done in time for the final week of the APG. I wasn't planning on going into the evening today (Monday) - though of course I now have an M&M's shop to do at A so now spending time there:rotfl:!

    Goodnight:wave:.

It now looks like I am aware of 35 DVDs on £3 price in M (a price I have somehow considered good enough to take), a far cry from the four that I had from my two stores last Monday. Looks like I've done rather well, finding all those further ones. Does anyone have any other DVD in M at £3 that I haven't got on the list?:rotfl: (I can't rule out - I may have found further ones that I noted on pages I haven't updated yet, so it's not my 'final answer' just yet - and, even when I finally finish, I am still not saying they aren't others available somewhere as I suspect there may well be.) The maximum number that I have found in a single store is 11. Therefore, I think if you go looking for a specific title, you'll probably be unlikely to find it in your M. You have whatever DVDs at £3, if any, you have available to you.

(Nevertheless - it is possible there may have been more than 11 in one of my places, as there could have been some with incorrect higher price SELs that I have picked up from another store that is showing what appears to be the true price of £3; so more could have been there but I have got whatever showed to me £3 anywhere.)

We have those, bought off Ebay, the instructions said they won't work with low energy bulbs.

I noticed that Habitat also sell them (but more sleek versions) and they looked to have modern bulbs but I couldn't guarantee. They are on display in the Habitat inside Sainsbobs at London Colney if you want to investigate. That habitat currently has 25% off everything.

If you check online, you will see you can get dimmable LEDs, you just have to make sure you buy ones that can do it. I have for my 3 touch lamp in my bedroom and it works fine.
  • Not sure if this has been mentioned, there is a code on Priority for £40 off £399+ purchases of anything on A O.com
  • Tomorrow and Wednesday O3 Nerd coughees, remember travel mug for additional stamp. I was looking for large travel mugs, over the standard 420ml, online as at Nerd it is a free any size drink, but the cost was far too much
Coming attractions for WonTwo are Thortful(greeting cards etc), Majestic(hiccup!), WHSmith, and Costalot(coughee shoppy).

Costalot seems to be becoming almost fortnightly on Fridays, GC format.
