Good Morning :hello:
Slept a bit better but hoping Sunday is a bit better than Saturday mum wise.
I want Sunday afternoon to myself and our Poppy will find out when I visit around 11-30am
Making SW quiche for tea will be enough left over for tomorrows tea :T:T:T0 -
Off I go seem to be talking to myself and Poppy0

Good morning all, peeing down here :eek:diluvsdiscounts wrote: »How are the family you're sharing it with doing? I bet its made such a difference to their summer.
You need a walnut tree. I must have 100 plus walnuts this year I don't know what I'm going to do with them all, they would be great for your baking.
I may ask Bargainqueen about making a walnut liqueur. She makes the nicest limoncelo I have ever tasted.
Dd is doing ok thank you she said she feels like she's been hit by a bus. The doctor said she has concusion and pooling of b###d around her eye and at the side of her head. Her boss is a complete fool though and shows absolutely know sign that he thinks its anything to do with his pub however he was cleaning the floors when she called on Thursday with a sick note. He was shocked that she wasn't going in this weekend but I wouldn't stand behind a bar with a black eye either.
Bubbs I've messaged you about Ocado save you reading back braveheart posted a discount code the other day.
I am mean, I think if that had happened to me and I felt up to it I would have gone into work and told my boss that I would tell people exactly how it happened unless he was willing to pay me double for the work I had lost.I just keep plodding. Things are sorted with mum.
But you wouldn't think so with mum I only visit Thursday Saturday and Sunday and seems like all week.
I also dread it when my phone rings and see it says mum
As us Northerners would say she trying to lead me a merry dance and last weekend Sunday afternoon aunty Hilary had a word with mum when we both visited and I went to make the brews in kitchen/dining room
Your mum does not know what side her bread is buttered on, it's about time she learned to appreciate you
That said, I soooo wish my mum was around to be like that …….What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

The new iOS adds some interesting features including a Screentime monitor . It tells you how long you have spent on your phone during the week, on which apps and how many times you pick your phone up. Lots of charts for the sad people like me
.
It has only been out a week, but on balance I can see why my battery drains now and why the statement "you are always on your phone" has some degree of truth.

Gosh, I am glad I am on Android
That said, I am fully aware of the time I spend on here and on tech, that is why I have started on my cross stitch again, I tend to spend time on my laptop/tab when OH is here and I can't do anything else because it normally means interrupting the work he is doing or being too noisy. I can't even vacuum upstairs when he is on the phone because it sets off Castor and Pollux :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
