I don't see why not. I got a Mocha which is one of the most expensive, and a regular went through the till fine.

So it's a difficult decision, time consuming if you let it and expensive.

Just back from T, had to go and get some currants as none in Lidl or Aldi, picked up a small joint of pork while I was there, couldn't get much as freezer quite full, I need to rèmedy that as Lidl might be reducing some frozen before they close for a couple of months!

My boiler sprang a leak last February, as it was under 5 years old I contacted the Manufacturer. But they said the warranty was invalidated as it had been more than 12 months since it’s last service.

I tried to get another quote from a website that has “trusted tradesmen” Someone came to have a look, then I didn’t hear from him again.
I asked my neighbour who is in the Building trade, he said he would “get his guy” to call me. Well he didn’t call me
Eventually I found someone - just because he was working locally - and he said it just needed a repair and not a replacement.
Stressful or what? lol

Out of curiosity, have you got a water softener that uses salt? Just that they can corrode the heat exchanger.
