Dunno if this s a bargain?

    Hendrick's gin from the £28.99 @ Co-op

Well if it is for 10 litres it would be a right bargain!

Did anyone else take up the Amazon windfall offer on VC?

Was I the only one who did not see anywhere that you had to upload the receipt within 6 hours?.

There was no mention of this in the activation email - it said to keep your receipt safe.

I am very annoyed with them and with myself for falling for it - it was an online purchase, from an online site - why would I need to upload a receipt? The items haven’t even arrived yet to take a photo of the receipt, which is what the instruction said - if it said a screenshot or photo of the order it would have been clearer, together with an instruction to upload the order immediately..

    Rant over.

Oh yes I did. I also missed the 6hours for goodness sake. I ve sent them an “ interesting “ email but will have to wait a few days for a reply. I feel exactly the same as you . I bought gift cards so I ll a just put it back on my account .

  • Our washing machine went kaput a week or so ago. New one coming tomorrow and old one being collected tomorrow. We just put it on a spin cycle to get rid of the excess water before pulling it out and unplugging it and we suddenly smelt burning and once we'd switched it off and opened the door, loads of smoke poured out of it

Thank goodness we were both in the kitchen at the time or that could have been so much worse!

Yes, good thing you were there.

I went on a Fire Safety course a few years back and they said washing machines should never be left running if you go out, also not to put them on just before you go to bed for the night.
