Savy sal lovely that you have support from your sister marigoldsal, Take care both of you.

If I buy laphoraig at sada and it's the same price elsewhere, will it work out cheaper, please? I've had a request to take a bottle to Brisbane. :) Thank you.:)

Would it not be cheaper to buy it duty free on the way out?

Also today we went to Neros.
On the 0000002 app is an offer buy a cake get a hot drnk free. I studied the rules and I did a screen shot.

Neros do a very nice ginger slice, absolutley gorgeous for £2 and you can have a large hot chocolate with cream and sprinkles (£3.05 worth)
So the code took the £3.05 off and I paid the £2 with my Neros app. Everytime you use your Nero app you get a cracker. I opened this while I was at the till so I got a 2nd hot chocolate.

So 2 hot chocolates and a slice of ginger loaf to share for only £2 :T

    Another comp? Fab. Well done

Our washing machine went kaput a week or so ago. New one coming tomorrow and old one being collected tomorrow. We just put it on a spin cycle to get rid of the excess water before pulling it out and unplugging it and we suddenly smelt burning and once we'd switched it off and opened the door, loads of smoke poured out of it

Thank goodness we were both in the kitchen at the time or that could have been so much worse!

Phewww that was very lucky x

That is scary. I stopped running the washing machine when there was no-one in the house a few years ago, OH thought I was being paranoid, this reinforces the idea that they should not go unattended

Glad you were around to stop it in time.

I'm not averse to popping to the shop or a little trip while its in but this was only going for a couple of minutes. I'll not ever be doing it again that's for sure :o
